I honestly believe if we beat Leicester we are not only almost a certainty for play-offs but the only team we need to look over our shoulders at is Bolton.

Pork pie land.
"Radio Charlton" confesses it could have been 4-0 or strangely Albion "could have won 6 games here" ... ? Disappointing but still a point

I think you must be talking a bout Radio London, and they actually said that is what Gus Poyet will claim. Their view is that Charlton gave us nothing and worked their socks off for the point.

Improved our position against a team that have superb away form.. Should have won it, but couldn't have done anymore than we did tonight.

We'll tear Leicester apart, if the same team start on Saturday.
It was always about Saturday anyway.

Charlton came with the intention of going back to South London with a point. Leicester will need to go for 3 points which could be their downfall in the same vein as Crystal Palace.

not really unless you're going to look at every game that we lost points late on. one game does not make or break a season, we are still very much in it and all in our own hands. If we don't lose on saturday its even stronger

But the other games weren't against a team one place above us who would now be below us. We will see at the end of the season how costly it was.

That the problem though, Most of the season we have not been able to put a strong run of wins together which is where we could fall down. IMO the 2 home games tonight and Sat were must wins

Think the confusion about who should start the official match day thread was to blame if I'm honest. It was a bad start.
Come on lads we can't leave these things to chance at this stage of the season. Let's get this sorted out here and now.

My vote is for Rowley to own the thread until we lose. Who's with me?

Do we need a poll on this or can we agree this now?

Pork pie land.
Possibly but the bigger story is the amount of 1 pointers all season. Out of those, we should have won at least 5 of those

I think my views on that, and the lack of attacking intent are well know. Ulloa has at least given us a cutting edge. Other teams grinding out a point is only to be expected. Trying to sit on a lead and inviting other teams to come at us is the real problem.

But not the one that went straight through Kuszczak's hands against Birmingham? Funny that.

This is exactly why I would rather we finished 9th instead of 7th (yes, I know we're really going to be in the play-offs), but it would stop the finger-pointing and "what if's". There's not a player in the world that doesn't make mistakes, and you can't blame one for what happens at the end of a season.
Unless it's in the play-off final.....:p
