Hull were very competitive in midfield but didn't resort to some of the crude stuff that several of our less gifted rivals use to get in our faces right from the kick off. I suspect that Blackburn will also try the physical stuff. We need a strong Ref tonight otherwise our midfield can be made to look a bit lightweight in the tackle.
Wasn't impressed by Campbell against us at Ipswich where was subbed after an hour, having had no impact on us. I hope he is similarly ineffective tonight.
If we are positive from the start and get a fair chance from the Ref then we I don't see why we shouldn't take the points, but won't be easy.

Hammond was poor on sat very slow and didn't seem to be on the same wave length as the rest of the team.
Stuck at home after the dentist.
If I knew GP would put this team out I would have cancelled the dentist.

I know what you mean but our midfield would be too lightweight without Hammond. Thats asking a lot of Bridders if Blackburn load up their midfield and get physical. Orlandi and Lopez offer flair but not enough bite in the tackle. Hammond gives us a better balance especially with Gus playing two up front, a winger and Vicente starting.
I'm pleased to see Vicente, Buckley and Hoskins get a go. Thats really positive but still allows plenty of flair and fresh legs on the bench.
I wonder which Blackburn player Vicente will make look a mug tonight?
