I think we need to stop blaming withdean and the fans for our poor home form.
would we perform better with a livelier crowd? probably. Will it guarantee more wins? no.
Would the crowd be livelier with better performances? probably. But it's a cyclical argument. Form is better with a better crowd. The crowd is better with better form.
The thing is, when the players screw up and loss, we give them an out, we stop them looking at themselves by talking about withdean fatigue, and dead crowds, etc. We happily give them something else to blame their poor performance on, and they take it.
Let's stop with that. Let's not say "well, it's all we can expect at withdean", let's stop with the "it can't be fun playing in a library". Let's hold the players accountable for what is in their control: their performance.
