Albion’s under-23s will look to bounce back from Friday’s 5-3 defeat to Liverpool this evening at The People’s Pension Stadium, when they take West Ham United in their first game of this year’s Premier League International Cup, kick-off 7pm.

A 4-1 league victory over Southampton and a 1-1 draw away to Leyton Orient in the Leasing.com Trophy were the results in November for Simon Rusk’s men before the aforementioned game against Neil Critchley’s Merseysiders last week, and the Seagulls will be looking to respond to that result up the A23 tonight.

Bojan Radulovic and Danny Cashman were on the scoresheet last time out for the Seagulls, with the Serbian striker netting a brace and Cashman finding the back of the net three minutes from time.

Tonight’s opposition are managed by Terry Westley and sit second in the group after playing two matches in the competition - a 1-0 win at home to Valencia and a 3-2 loss to VFL Wolfsburg on home soil. The Hammers are league leaders of Premier League 2 Division 2 and are unbeaten so far this season, winning ten and drawing one of their 11 league contests to date.

Albions next opponents after West Ham in this competition will be Valencia CF U23s on the 18th of December again at The peoples pension stadium aka Crawley .

Three first-teamers in the side (and a very welcome return for Bernardo). Ryan Longman also returns from injury on the bench:-

Good team, plenty of firepower on the bench.

Come on Brighton.
