I wouldn’t say he was poor personally. Nowhere near as effective (or is it affective I’m never sure!) as the league below - but he had some decent games still. Poor is a bit harsh. If you want poor let’s go Ryan Harley or Leon Best - even Locadia wasn’t that poor for me - did some good bits at least… a bit poor maybe 🤣
Yes, there were plenty poorer over the years - but at PL level he was still poor; or not quite good enough, if you prefer. That's why every team that had him in the PL moved him on (and two succeeded, but I'm not sure if Fuham have managed it yet?)

Yeh ok I’d agree on not quite good enough - certainly for where we are now. But it’s odd because he was absolutely superb in the champs - and one of the best players in the whole league. Maybe it shows how well the likes of Dunk etc have done stepping up. Or the likes of Sanchez coming straight in without playing championship level before.

My personal view … AK lacked the half yard of pace to beat EPL left backs and it got to him psychologically, making the issue worse.
