Chip time 41:15 GET IN. Palace run faster than Brighton its officail !!!!!!!!!
Well organised, only saw 1 water station though at the 2.5k mark I think I didnt take any water on board all round, were there any more on the course?
Was the finish line still there when you got back ! Well done for entering and you have a goal to beat next year.
No...Dont know what happened to the water!.There is usually one at about 5k and then you get it again on the way back at about 8k.
I expect there is a binfest on runners world review forum about this.

True enough I didn't see any water being handed out either. Maybe cost cutting this year. Last year they gave out a cereal bar and water. When I was walking back home (Ironically, near the bloody King Alfred) there were people STILL going. Gonna get < 1hr next time.
My friend wasn't pleased, there were no water at the end either! we had to go to burger king.
Can't say I would have recognised him anyway.58 mins on chip time, which I'll take as I had done no training at all since July!
Anyone else see Mr Norman Cook? I passed him on the way back, about 300 yards from the king alfred turn, he was running towards King Alfred. All I could manage was a meek thumbs up rather than a raucous full lung-ed SEEEAAAGULLLS!
It goes down from Madiera Drive to Black Rock car park 1.5k back up and down to King Alfreds 6.5k marker and then back to Madiera Drive. Nice and flat and the wind was only 10 or 15mph yesterday, great race conditions.Set my pb in the Brighton 10k a few years back, 36-17.
Not sure if its still the same course these days, when I ran it it went from the Marina to somewhere near the West Pier and back. Great course if not too windy off the sea. Would probably be 10 mins slower these days if I'm honest.
Is the Brighton 10k a seriously quick race as so many of you talking about sub 44 minute times? Or is that just that only the real athletes have been commenting (otr a few are fibbing?!).
I ask as I recently did the Leeds Castle 10k (lots of hills/off road/mud), nobody over took me the whole way round but still only did 49 mins 30 secs.
Maybe I should run the Brighton 10k next year to get a pb?!
