I know loads has been said about new contracts blah blah, but surely after recent performances there should be a contact on the table for him. He was absoloute class today the amount of headers he won for small player was great. By far the Man of the match today lets hope these performances continue :bhasign:

He's a lovely player. Controlled, intelligent, rarely gives the ball away and always seems to be in the right place to intercept and break things up.

I really noticed tonight how Greer and El Abd use him. They can leave the middle and move into much wider positions in our half when they're on the ball, finding the space on the flanks, and supporting Painter and Calderon as they push up in front of them. They can do this because Bridcutt just drops back centrally, always ready to receive, and providing that security when we (occasionally) lose the ball. Its fabulous to watch, it pulls the opposition forwards and midfielders all over the shop and creates so much space for us to exploit.

Bridcutt is a little gem of a player, and he should have a 3 year deal on the table PDQ.

Couldn't have put it better myself. He was incredible.

If I had one criticism of Gus it would be why on earth has he not offered Liam a new contract yet??

Championship clubs must be queuing up for his name

but at the point they can sign him (the summer) WE will be a championship club on the same points (0).........

....but with a great manager who really likes him, playing proper football, with arguably the best stadium in the league, and furthermore, he doesn't have to move to another city, or adjust to a team or system.

no need to get out the contracts yet, all the players know that when we are promoted the offers will come from the club.

Despite Murray scoring two, one of which was a classic, I'd still go for Bridcutt as MoM. Different gravy IMHO. I would also say though that to a man we, as a team, work so much harder for each other off the ball which helps the player on the ball.

People are speculating as to who and who isn't being kept. Just because Andy Naylor hasn't been told doesn't mean that the people who matter don't. Does anybody seriously think that the management haven't noticed that Bridcott is a pretty speacial player ?
