Like a lot of clubs are bothered, they do have a good fan base. Pour a lot of money in this season, get the right players in and what will happen. A fine and just maybe a transfer embargo, well if you have the right players in, you could be out of this league in 2 years. FFP will only effect those that comply as give it a few years and it will be watered down. Man City did not suffer to much did they?

You are truly a ray of sunshine!

That's three.

2 of them went up, which goes to show my point. They spent big to get out of this league and they will get away with a fine. There will be other clubs who have gambled and we will not know that until later this year. The point is that clubs will not comply, I am not against FFP and I think its good for football. However you are dealing with owners of clubs and the ones with more money want to pump it into the club, so eventually it will be watered down. Last months FFP showed that most of the clubs in this league want to make changes.

QPR and Reading both had parachute payments enabling them to spend bigger than the rest don't forget. My point is you said lots of clubs are trying to change it. You have come up with three, and even those are just a guess. The fact is, Leeds will have to comply like the rest of us in the Championship. Do you think that the clubs that do comply will let the clubs that don't change the rules to suit them? I don't think so.

Last month Most of the Clubs tried to make changes to the FFP, they needed 75% to get them past! they fell just short. That means almost three quarters of the clubs in this league are trying to make changes to the rules. That aside nobody has been punished yet and when that happens, that will be the test if FFP will work.
Will clubs just get a fine, will not have a big effect on clubs with a lot of money
Will clubs suffer a transfer embargo, if that's the case, will clubs challenge it in court.

Nobody knows if FFP will ever be enforceable.

Don't think the Leeds fans are going to like Cellino changing the music when the players walk out onto the pitch to the theme from "The Godfather"

Thanks Greens :(
We've had two left-field managers, in GP and OG, who haven't quite managed to get us up

I think this time we need to go for a manager who has got a team up, and the two that spring immediately to mind are McDermott and Mackay

They both got clubs equal in stature to us up, so if they can get together with our board and agree on incoming players and a workable, FFP compliant budget, I'm hopeful they can work the oracle again

The only cloud in the sky would be if they say the resources they would need, eg players and their contracts, to get us up are no longer affordable with FFP

We would then have to again go for a left-field appointment and hope it does the trick ???

I think McDermott would be a good appointment not massively exciting but he could bring Leeds captain with him if we could afford him. That will be possible when we eventually give in to Leicester re Ulloa at 7m with add on's
