Hither (sometimes Thither)
Chad.
It should mean Smithy is on his way and Kuipers will be reinstated as cross-non-puncher-in-chief.
Hoyte carries that timidity to him that made his brother transfer to Middlesboro. He should take that stepdown lifestory and grow a pair of giant balls to make sure he's not a rehash of it. Muscle up Hoytey.

Awful news about Hoyte. Let us hope Wenger has discovered how bad Hoyte has got with us that he will not allow him to stay any longer.

Hoyte is not good enough to help form a promotion worthy team, and although we arent going to go up this year, we should be looking at long term players to build the squad. Hoyte has looked poor recently against orient and Wycombe, constantly getting turned too easily by Betsy and Townsend!
Brezovan is good enough back up, but possibly look for a better replacement or new first keeper in the summer, although i'd like us to look at Paul smith at forest. As for Cox,for the first time in a LONG time he was fairly impressive at Wycombe, but the problem has always been consistent, and with his best performance for many months he was still far from the best player on the pitch.
Would like someone like Andros townsend, or Robinson from leeds to play on the left.

Looks like Poyet is only thinking short term until end of season. He obviously wants to make sure we don't go down and then in the Summer I think we will see another radical overhaul with some quality signings

I'm quite happy with Brezovan being offered a contract until the end of the season. We all know he isn't the best keeper on the planet. But, he is better than Smith.

Good move. Brezovan has done alright since he's been here, especially when you consider how little football he played prior to starting with us. A contract until the season's end gives us the power to keep or release him in June depending on how he does.

Right here, right now
judging by his wycombe performance, i would be very happy with that.
Trouble is, he only puts in 2 or 3 performances like that per season. Mr Consistant he is not.

He is a decent League 2 player, not a player we need to push us up League 1.

I'm working on it.

Could be a case of depositing the wife and x child(ren) in deepest darkest Torbay and sneaking off to the match. TBA:thumbsup:

Am i the only person to think Brezovan is absolutely dire! At Orient i thought he looked like a bad sunday league player and he commanded his box woefully with his kicking 'ability' even worse (could have been down to pitch conditions though?) And at Wycombe that absolute howler any two year old could have caught! Granted he had a fine game at Exeter with the good penalty save (which he gave away) and some decent saves, but since then he has looked very uneasy! There is surely much, much better out there than a Swindon Town reject. I'm not usually that negative about our players but anything but him.
Also in my opinon Hoyte isn't great but he would be a decent squad player for us, giving us competition and much needed pace (all be it him only using it to make up for his own errors/bad positioning!!!)

Poyet doesn't know what he's doing. We're suffering from having an inexperienced manager, keeping Brezovan is a mistake but Hoyte is an even bigger one. Letting Wright leave without looking at him is daft, Sebastien Carole being back on trial is pointless because he's not good enough in general and yet Poyet wants to take a look. Interesting.

So, in summary, we've got a goalkeeper not good enough for Swindon, a winger not good enough for Tranmere and a midfielder not good enough for Yeovil (though I always liked George O'Callaghan!).

We got rid of Slade for THIS?

I don't take any pride in thinking Poyet is screwing the team up, and contrary to popular opinion, I love this club and I'll always support it, whoever is in charge. But I don't like the job Poyet is doing here and I'm not fond of the players he seems to be.

On the plus side, No El-Abd saturday, thank merciful Lord.

We got rid of Slade because we were f***ing rubbish.

We beat Wycombe 5-2 and all of a sudden we're brilliant? It wasn't long ago everyone was moaning about our lack of effectiveness against Leyton Orient... Funny what one result does to the mentality, eh. We're no better now than we were with Slade in charge.

All those teams, Ninja, are better than us so maybe these players are actually moving us UP. I wouldn't know I am not a proffessional football manager.
