Why are you not aware this "deal" and relationship "nonsense" are part of the Article 50 leaving process?
"the Union shall negotiate and conclude an agreement with that State, setting out the arrangements for its withdrawal, taking account of the framework for its future relationship with the Union"
Surely this is just a recognition within the Treaty text that there may be more than one option open to the departing Member State in terms of its future relationship with the EU and that the Council will take this on board when negotiating the Withdrawal Treaty? I don't think there's much more to it, and maybe you don't either, but tbh I haven't read many of your previous posts on this thread. Are you contending that there's something more substantial here?
