And yet another bid to take the village idiot crown off Ppf with the daily posting of the link to the manufacturing marketing website that has absolutely nothing to do with Brexit. They're all out tonight, must be the weather :dunce:

Maybe you should do that 'why Gammon is racist and anti-semitic' one again. Although It's equally pathetic it's very slightly more amusing.

There's hope you young people, despite Brexit. This from AUS-UK FTA brief...

the UK and Australia will make unprecedented changes to their Youth Mobility Schemes, making them available to nationals no older than 35 for a total stay of up to 3 years, without having to undertake specified work including regional work, for example on a farm. In line with each country’s respective immigration system, the parties will further explore opportunities to enhance the ability for citizens to live, work and travel in each country

To be fair it might knock 20p off the cost of a Rogan Josh.
The usual drill is that the imported Beef/Lamb will be cheaper than UK produced Beef/Lamb. A small amount of this saving will be passed on to the consumer and this will undermine UK producers so they end up going out of business as they can't compete.

Once UK producers are out of the market the Australians and the supermarkets can both raise their prices, job done.

Interesting Twitter thread by a British farmer here:

https://twitter.com/herdyshepherd1/status/1405082692711030788

Basically he's saying that not only have the UK government decided to sacrifice British farming to the altar of Brexit, they've also committed to changing the very landscape of the country to said altar as well.

In order to compete with tariff free meat imports from Oz, the UK will have to adopt Australian farming practices as well. Which they can't really do because the ecology of both countries is completely different. If they try, well.....We might be seeing sweeping changes to the state of the British countryside. And we all know more than most how the residents of those little country villages just luuuurve all sorts of development in and around their back yards don't we? :lolol:
