17 million voted to leave, out of a country of 65m, unfortunately, only 16m voted to stay, but that's democracy I suppose

46.5 million were eligible to vote, if you are going to continue to whine and whine and whine, at least dont get a stat wrong by 20 million FFS .......................

A rule is a rule. It exists or it doesn't. If it exists, then it should happen. If it doesn't, indicating the petitioner made it up, what a load of pish.

Everyone's a little touchy today.

It is heartening the see that the leavers don't actually know how to leave or what they are going to do once we have left, since they haven't read the rules yet.

On freedom of movement, as it currently stands if we want access to the free market we will have to abide by their rules (not ours), otherwise they won't let us in (it's a bit like a rugby team trying to join a football game and wanting to pick up the ball all the time, but not understanding why they keep conceding freekicks).

You do realise that we are the 2nd largest economy in the EU area and that we are their biggest market too, why would you then conclude we would have to abide by their rules, you are underestimating our clout and over estimating theirs.

I'm not going to give you any advice on investing your pension but you don't have to be constrained by the performance of the FTSE. I didn't say eligible to vote, as this decision affects everyone of the 65m who live here, and probably affects the under 18s unable to vote, more than most.
And I'm not whining, that's why I put"That's democracy ,I suppose"

Oh c'mon, you were undoubtedly showing the figures in a comparable context and even so you have forgotten to factor into the other 20 million those that may well of voted Leave, or likely to prosper in the future you cannot just bag that 20 million for yourself !!

I voted against Tony Blair in 3 elections. I lost, I was annoyed, I thought I'll get you next time.

I really wish I had Facebook then to start a campaign for another vote. It would of been so much easier.

Just remember that there are still many of the population around who were conned in to voting this country into the EU in the first place. It was a vote to enter a common market with no mention of sovereignty or law making.being handed over to this beaurocratic dictatorship.
Just remember there are many still alive who lost relatives in the war. Many of those killed were just teenagers . my great aunt lost both her young sons.,Tthese men and boys. British, Irish, Polish, Indian, Canadians and French resistance thought they were fighting to save sovereignty and democracy and it was appaling that what they died for was for nothing as power was just handed over anyway.
So maybe you should be disgusted and ashamed - with yourselves.

I think two professors is hiding himself. Since I asked him to tell me if he hadserved in the forces, when he was questioning remainers patriotism, he appears to have disappeared.

We look elsewhere we look out wards around a very big world for raw material to make our own trade more freely with other areas the EU imports can also be tariffed to suite or we again go elsewhere...

Migrants working for £18600 per year jobs is just unacceptable a British person can do that level of work.....we set the standard higher like Australia we will be ok longer term we have to go through some pain to get real change.....

So you not only want out of the E.U., you are prepared to cut us off as much as is necessary to avoid any influence whatsoever from the E.U.?
We won't need a points system like Australia has, we will need an assisted passage and you can't leave for 3 years like they used to have, it will be people leaving, not coming that will be the problem.
My Kids leave Uni in 2 and 3 years time, they are not going to wait ten years to see an improved Britain, they are going to go where the work will be, Europe.
