I’m really pleased you took my advice today a went to (walking I assume)football practice, I’m beginning to think looking at your other posts on NSC you don’t offer, how can I say this politely, variety that’s the word, anyway have a great evening in front of the PC jousting about Brexit and I’ll see you tomorrow, same time same place.... [emoji6][emoji6]

I just thought I had better mention now it's becoming fairly regular, but if you want me to humiliate you on yet another aspect of Brexit tomorrow, it will be best if we book something in. It will need to be tomorrow morning as I'm busy all afternoon.

And none of that 6 o'clock in the morning stuff that you are so fond of. You know I like a lie in

Bullying, intimidation and slating is one of the many reasons people are afraid to post their heartfelt inner thoughts on here.

You're right there are many reasons. Off the top of my head immediately,

There's also embarrassment about what they have already posted (between you and me, I think that's why so many set up multiple accounts )
There's also simple ignorance of what Brexit means and what the consequences are (hence the funny one liners every time it's pointed out and they have no answer)
There's also just basic stubbornness and obstinance in the face of all facts to the contrary
And loads more

And that's before all the those things that Leavers constantly claim that Remainers accuse them of (The Lady Doth Protest Too Much, Methinks) and there maybe an element (albeit tiny, I'm sure) of truth in those.

Hope this helps

In its economic outlook accompanying chancellor Rishi Sunak’s spending review, the OBR forecast that Brexit alone would cause a 4% long-run hit to output even if Johnson does strike a deal.

But a failure to reach agreement and defaulting to World Trade Organisation (WTO) terms, including tariffs on trade with the EU, would add up to 2% to this, meaning a long-run hit to economic output of up to 6%.

I definitely rattled you yesterday didn’t, I’d like to apologise, having re read some of what I said I feel it was mean spirited and un called for. [emoji106]

No need to apologise, I wasn't offended or rattled at all. Maybe you could point out what you thought was mean spirited and uncalled for, because I didn't see it

Anyway, back to Brexit matters in hand (the whole point of the thread), do you want to book a time for tomorrow (It'll give you a few more hours to remember exactly what you voted for the NI/Ireland border) or at the very least -come up with a funnier one-liner

As I said I’m sorry and to be frank I’m tired of squabbling with my fellow Albion fans on a football forum, have a great evening.

So the French tested their system yesterday, resulted in 5 mile queue formed quickly on the M20, average 70 seconds processing per vehicle

https://www.theguardian.com/politic...-checks-causes-five-mile-lorry-queues-in-kent

Anyone think this is going to go well in January when our self imposed trade sanctions kick in?
Sounds like everything will be fine, only a 5 mile queue after all, us Brits are World Champs when it comes to queues ever since the Russians ditched theirs post Cold War.

Nothing to see here, keep moving!
