Will even our brightest and most optimistic Brexit supporters tell us businesses can turn things around from a standing start in 8 days?

With Farage changing the name of his party and the ERG up in arms, it appears that the swivel-eyed Brexit loonies have turned into the swivel-eyed anti-lockdown loonies.

Not long now until they go full Trump.

Shirley no one could have seen that coming

I'm hoping to see Trump's dethroning as the collapse of the extreme right, Boris will leg it next spring and the loonies cast back to the margins

Farage can rename his party Monster Raving loony party

The Watford GAP comment is rather tongue-in-cheek but do you fundamentally disagree with the sentiment?

Calling someone a 'swivel-eyed Brexit loony' if they voted differently in the Leave the EU referendum is quite offensive actually.

Boris must be shitting his pants over the US election given Biden has indicated he wants to rebuild bridges with the EU and Germany. The U.K. will be left high-and-dry on a trade deal if this happens.

I imagine they’re secretly hoping for a no-deal; tariffs on U.K. car exports, and particularly car component imports, will have a huge impact on Swindon, Midlands and the North East and put Germany well and truly in the automotive industry driving seat....pun intended

On the topic of components, JCB use 70% foreign sourced bits in their plant vehicles and machines. That’s going to increase the price somewhat isn’t it Mr Bamford?

Rule Britannia!

This is why any deal with the EU hinges on the US vote.

Taking back control and giving it to the US.

If Biden wins, I predict some BoJo backdowns to get some sort of EU deal.

If Trump does win, I see a no deal with the USA wearing us like a glove.

A person with a lazy eye suffering mental issues during lockdown might well feel offended, with justification.

Why does everything have to have a tag or name? Is that your way of putting everything in boxes or compartments to make it easier to digest?

You really are a psychiatrist's dream.

Not everyone who voted leave is a loon, not everyone who voted leave is a racist, or gullible or stupid.

However, anyone who is racist, a loon, or gullible would in all likelyhood vote Brexit. Unfortunately they are on your boat whether you like it or not
