What a shitty mess.
The messages I've had from European friends are ones of condolence, pretty much. They feel sorry for us, rather than angry at 'our' decision.
I'm a gullible div, what do you expect me to think?WTF?
Yes - for the overwhelming majority of the gullible divs that voted out yesterday, that is EXACTLY what 'we' want to do.
Now is the time to be pro Europe! It's only the EU we voted to leave, we still love our European neighbours and we need to show them
Just because we don't agree with the direction of EU politics doesn't mean we want to close our borders.
I'm a gullible div, what do you expect me to think?
The two I spoke to were sad also, not angry. They feel sorry for us and for Europe though.

My first words this morning to my Romanian assistant were: "What the f*ck are you still doing here?!"
I think she saw the funny side.

If they feel sorry for us now then imagine how they'll feel when they see our next PM Boris Johnson...
A very grown up response, you won't have any trouble getting on in the world with an attitude like thatWill the country be prosperous? I hope so. This may well be the case in the long term. But right now, for someone hunting for a job after leaving university like myself, this result brings a lot of uncertainty. There is a very high chance of a sort term economic downfall, but let's hope this isn't the case. Economic forecasters are notorious for getting things wrong.
This result has really highlighted the difference from the younger and older generations. Polar opposite differences in voting preferences, made for a very exciting and close finish. I'd like to apologise for my outburst, there's no point in crying over spilt milk. It was a late night where we all witnessed history. Let's hope the country got it right, as it's my generation that'll live with this decision for the majority of their lives.
I'm thankful this is over. Both campaigns have been full of lies and incompetence.
Stock market falls in France and Germany greater than those of the FTSE today so far. Impact of this is world wide and certainly not apocalyptic for the UK by any stretch of the imagination.
I don't expect gullible divs to think at all. I expect them to do what Rupert Murdoch tells them.
Carney has £250 Billion to try to prop up our economy ? has he just found that down the back of the sofa or is it the reason why the NHS, like our roads are crumbling ?
Why not thank them for laying the foundations of the prosperous country you live in now , for building it after ww2 out of the ashes of austerity that you couldnt even BEGIN to imagine ? Instead of whining like a 12 year old whos been told he cant stay up late ?
