Someone in the comments said, we lived on spuds and rabbit after the war we can do it again.
I replied said "Why do we think it's preferable to eat rabbits and spuds than to remain part of the EU. Such a stupid attitude." and got loads of down votes
Can you even argue with such sheer stupidity?
I think that so many people have little or no idea of where their food comes from. Go back a hundred years and we used to eat " In Season ", now , thanks to all the fancy chef shows we need food out of season in the UK all year round in order to satisfy our tastes. Yes, we can live on jacket Spuds with Baked Beans and have Porridge every day for breakfast but it's going to be a pretty miserable way of trying to prove a point.
