It's the end of the Tory party if he actually tries to go for a no deal Brexit as well though, it's the end of the Tory party if he calls another referendum, it's the end of the Tory party if he begs for and gets another extension to A50 from The EU, it's the end of the Tory party if he calls a general election............... - it's the end of the Tory party whatever he does and they deserve nothing less.
I largely agree. It will be interesting to see how hard the same effect hits Labour as well. If the EU election pattern solidifies, then we may have Farage instead of Boris as PM.

First of all, there'd have to be an election - not impossible, but there's not one due for three years. Second, the Brexit Party will not find it easy to fight a general election - they don't have any policies and when they start putting some forward, things will break apart - what do Clare Fox and Ann Widdecombe have in common (apart from Brexit)?

However, it would not be the end of the Tory party if he left the EU with a Norway type deal - a country which really does *have its cake and eat it* - getting the massive EEA benefits without all the EU problems. Throw in a customs boundary in the Irish Sea and bingo! - everyone will be a winner.

Not that I personally care anymore - a plague on all their houses - the oncoming *no deal* storm is in all their names, not mine.

What is Brexit is for the country is one thing, but for the Tories its an absolute disaster, it was the worst call by Cameron to call the referendum, three years of civil war and no end in sight

Does anyone think we will reach a point where a Tory Brexiteer will stand up, be honest and admit they made a wrong call?

Is there anyone that will be prepared to do this?

Would that be a bad thing?

Wouldn't it depend on what those magic beans can do?

Jack seemed like a moron for selling his cow for magic beans, granted. But then...

"Then the ogre fell down and broke his crown, and the beanstalk came toppling after. Then Jack showed his mother his golden harp, and what with showing that and selling the golden eggs, Jack and his mother became very rich, and he married a great princess, and they lived happy ever after
Just saying.

Sounds just like Brexit ? Do you believe in Unicorns as well as fairy tales?

It seems impossible to even get a Leave voter to do that, despite the evidence for the potential disaster that confronts us.

You can lead a horse to water... *sigh*

West is BEST
We all predicted the Leavers would blame absolutely everyone but themselves. And as predicted that is exactly what they are doing.

There is only ONE Unicorn. Clue is in the name.

& FYI Fairies don't have tails.

If that is true the mods better have s seriously good answer for why this poster has not been permanently banned. Or are they ok with Nazi propaganda?

Oh I think they just tolerate him, he's mainly inoffensive in other threads:)

Don't quite understand ! Did I miss an apostrophe ? I'm absolutely certain I spelt TALES !

Yeah I noticed.

Not only do you know NOTHING about Fairies, but you also can't spell.

You may remember my campaign a long while back to try to put to bed this completely unfounded idea that all leavers are stupid.

I've noticed a lot of posters getting very upset that this completely unjustified generalisation is rearing it's ugly head again.

Well a few months back I decided that I needed to re-launch my campaign. But as with all campaigns, timing is critical, so as soon as this thread gets to 4 pages or 24 hours without a leaver saying something stupid, I'll take that opportunity to re-launch it with renewed vigour

(If you could refrain from posting for a bit this would be a huge help to the campaign)

So, why are they allowed on here?

Who knows. 2prof actually said that there were NO SS massacres committed until a MUSLIM SS unit committed one in 1944 in Yugoslavia. Neatly forgetting the British troops killed by the ********s in 1940 and the countless others across the Soviet Union throughout the war. Beggers belief really. We have some strange apologists on here.

Ask them a simple question these days, and they will be telling the world, they are being ATTACKED by PACKS who are in a RAGE if anybody else joins the conversation, and have the temerity to not agree with their standpoint.

Pretty funny.

Surely my cleverness is all the evidence you need? :D

In all seriousness though, I'd say don't bother wasting your time. Leavers are by definition stupid. The only acceptable evidence that they aren't stupid would be to change their minds that being an independant sovereign nation would be a good, non-bigoted, thing.

There is no need to argue that leavers aren't stupid, there's no reason for anyone to suppose that they are, unless people want to. There is one massive benefit to considering people you disagree with stupid - there is no need to engage in thoughtful, respectful, understanding conversation with stupid people. & Thoughtful, understanding and respectful conversation makes things complicated. Because even though you disagree with someone on something, there's every chance that both sides of an argument have valid points. That's a massive inconvenience if you are into demagoguery and self righteousness.
