I have been saying for a long time that the majority of leave voters are thick, ignorant racists.
After watching TV interviews and reading some of the posts on this thread I have no reason to change my mind.
This country is now awash with ferel, drugged up, pissed sewer rats who would struggle to remember their own name.
They should never have been allowed to vote and put the country in jeopardy while ruining the kids futures.
Politicians know this, which is why they are trying their very best to stop it or leave on the softest of terms and for once they are right.

And you're a typical arrogant remainer who thinks they know best , LEAVE MEANS LEAVE

What on earth are you wittering on about ?

......what an absolute ****ing mess this is turning into .......

It is the exact same clusterf*** that it was from the moment Cameron decided he had a cunning plan to paper over the cracks in the Tory party. It hasn't turned into anything else, it's simply gone along the pre-determined path that was obvious from the outset.

.....i really can no longer see a sensible outcome to this debacle......

The only two sensible outcomes haven't changed since the day after the referendum. Softest of soft Brexits (customs union), or a second referendum. A Hard Brexit with a Hard Border was never a starter for anyone who had thought through the political, economic and operational aspects of that option.

......i really don't think there is much perspective involved in the debate any more ...it is now has an emotional aspect which is spiralling out of control.....

I think you are absolutely right, there is very little perspective in the debate anymore and it seems to have become purely emotional. Particularly from a certain group who have now finally accepted that they were lied to, but are still blaming the wrong people

Why are Labour still bothering with these talks when this is out in the open?

Just pull out and make the point that (as we all know) the Tories are a bunch of self serving ********s who will renege on any agreements made.

Not really. Sensible thing is to bin Brexit. Maybe come back to it in a few years when people have had a chance to absorb the last few years.

What are you talking about? What's May resigning got to do with the talks with Labour?

The Lisbon Treaty was signed in 2007 and came into force in December 2009.

Are you talking about a DIFFERENT Lisbon Treaty, or just parroting some Facebook meme bullshit?

Well that depends what they come up with but Labour would be making a deal with May, who then resigns and the new leader reverses it all.

Would you trust the Tories at all, with the prospect of BoJo as PM?

Labour have nothing to lose. If they agree a deal with May, and she resigns and the new leader reverses it, the Tories look bad and Labour have lost nothing (apart from the time they've spent coming up with the deal, which is what they're paid to do).

The prospect of BoJo as PM is a frightening one. But Labour don't have to trust them. MPs on all sides should just get on with doing what they were elected to do.
