Good read and video.
http://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2016/06/brexit-facts-not-fear/

In the last 20 years on 72 occasions we have opposed a measure....on all 72 occasions we have been outvoted by the other member states.

Yes, but that's only a very small part of the story. It's like saying you disagreed with your wife 72 times during the past 20 years, without mentioning that you agreed with her over 2,500 times. And in Brexit land, those 72 times (approx 3 times a year) mean you must divorce her!

Well you obviously did not watch the video judging by how quick you have come back with your comment.....perhaps have a look.

Yes but hopefully your wife would not be bleeding you dry year in year out without fail and demanding more without a hope of getting any back like the EU

Great, well stop moaning about it then if it amuses you.
How about you stop arguing with people? You're giving me grief for saying this farce amuses me when none of you know what you're talking about, stating "facts" "figures" and "hopeless dreams" which you've all just suddenly decided to believe from people/experts that couldn't give a f*** about you!? This time last year no one was even talking about this shit, now its the "most important decision in your life" pffft mugs, absolute mugs of society

Luckily she's not. And, by the way, there is not one shred of evidence that the EU is "bleeding us dry". In fact, quite the reverse. But don't let facts get in the way of a good argument!

Do all countries put in the same amount ???? Don't think so we are penalised for being successful and the rebate will very quickly be gone if we stay in

Listen, if it is not important to you, which obviously it isn't because you will not be voting and at Glastonbury......then fair enough. You could post on Carry On Camping or any number of different threads, but you choose to complain on/about this thread....."mugs" maybe, but us mugs whether we support remain or leave find our decision important......well i do for my children's future.
In short, if i want to "argue" on this thread...or debate, i will.

Your children's future is f***ed whether we stay or remain mate, that's what I'm trying to say! The elite will always be in control, unless you've got buckets of money to hand down to your kids that's just the way it is, we work, we pay taxes we die, the working class will never be better off, we keep the country running, paying for those above us and those below us, can you seriously not see where I'm coming from?

I got as far as the bit where it quotes Jeremy Paxman talking about the proportion of UK laws made in Brussels. That bit was also quoted on the Daily Express website. Your Spectator video does the same as the Daily Express - cuts off Paxman half way through. Paxman goes on to highlight that a large proportion of the laws don't actually apply to the UK anyway (e.g.: the ones around growing tobacco, manufacturing olive oil, etc). So - whilst your video may contain "facts" it's more than a little disingenuous, given that it selectively omits the bits that don't fit the story. I'm not necessarily blaming The Spectator here - everyone is doing it...unfortunately.

" can you seriously not see where I'm coming from?" Of course i can, i have been on this planet for a good few years, seen many governments and many policies.
I think voting out will be better for this country, my children etc....if you like the best of the two evils.....that is my opinion, many differ and do not agree, but at the end of the day i am voting and i AM putting my opinion across on a thread that is about the EU VOTE.....that is what this thread is here for.

There is nothing wrong with it. It is not a lie. Unlike: 350m a week, Turkey joining EU, EU army.

Why don't you list the crap that Cameron and his henchmen have claimed?

We will be £4300 worse off.We will go into recession.Pensions will be worthless. We will need an emergency budget to stave off recession. We may go to war with other European countries. We will be at threat from terrorists.

Project Fear well and truly belongs to Remain.
