Meanwhile Ken Clarke exposes the true folly of the UK walking away from the FTD between the EU and Japan, the biggest in history. Will the UK get a better deal? Unlikely as the EU will need to authorise it first...

thing is MPs can stop brexit. too many are too scared of the consequence in their constituencies. for all the consequences of leaving, they would prefer that to losing their seat it seems.

I too watched this sorry spectacle. She is painting herself into a small corner. None of the Brexit fanatics raised much of a squeak - she's doing their job for them. I see a huge folly being played out in front of us orchestrated by arguably the most stubborn woman on the planet. I really am beginning to fear that she is going to place the Tory party's future over and above the national interest.

Really its up to the public, if you are OK with the consequences of no deal, if you are not write to your MP and let them know.
What I do know is pretty much everyone I deal with in business is tearing their hair out over Brexit. Many businesses as we speak are setting up in Ireland, Netherlands and elsewhere. Business will go elsewhere, tax will go elsewhere, orders are now inside no deal lead time for many items are are now being lost to EU competitors
She claims she wanted the deal sorted before Christmas. Lest we forget SHE PULLED THE VOTE in December.

Luckily there are only about 4 loons left on here that believe Brexit can be anything but a total disaster for Great Britain. Luckily nobody even took them seriously before the referendum.

I suspect you're right. Although I fully intend on making sure every Brexiter I know knows it's on them, and I intend to get through so many "I told you so"s online that we might have to stockpile them too.

Amazing.There are still some people who don't realise they lost a vote,we are leaving the EU,and their opinions are only important to a shrinking band of groupies.Sad

I feel sorry for you.
Given that they don't just disappear after 29th March and will vote in forthcoming elections etc., my suggestion would be that ignoring them comes at a cost. Especially given demographic shifts, and the fact that if a No Deal is as bad as predicted then public opinion is going to swing violently towards getting back into the EU, or some equivalent of, pronto.
