You’re going to have to explain this one. It doesn’t make any sense. Qatar is the country with the highest annual salary, what relevance does this have to the discussion?

I'd imagine that doesn't mean an awful lot for the chaps building their world cup stadiums...

West is BEST
That is your opinion, I don't share it. We could go on all night but I have a wife who is waiting. Enjoy the rest of your evening A1

Leavers excuse a lot of moronic statements by claiming it’s their “opinion” and it counts. Not if it’s clearly wrong. Opinion doesn’t come into it.

It is optimism that makes people and nations great not negativity!

I think you’ll find it’s more than platitudes which make things great. Care to come up with some decent arguments instead of mungo-jumbo like this?

As a country heavily skewed towards services, and which makes **** all, what exactly will you offer the rest of the world?

We will excel and make products that the world will buy again. As a country we are about to become less lazy and stop relying on 27 countries who stop us excelling on the world stage.

It is not until we have left, a few years beyond that we will see the full benefit.

A person who comes here from outside the EU, fills a position earning a salary over the current threshold for a visa. They don't claim benefits and send them back to their family in less well off countries within the EU.

It is sound political structure, solid trading deals, a welfare state that genuinely looks after the vulnerable, a government that acts in the best interests of its population and not their own careers, a culture of work and reward, realistic economic projections based on fact and not blind faith, amongst other things that make nations great . Not optimism.
Boris Johnson is the epitome of optimism. And he’s a ****ing idiot.

Optimism drives people to start new businesses. That creates jobs and creates revenue for the country!

Falmer, soon...
Is this based on evidence?
Is it not at the moment? Do you think we hold our politicians to account? Did you vote in the European elections?
What have they considered carefully? The strongest available evidence?

What evidence do you have that the long term economic future for Britain in the EU will be better than if it was out of the EU?
Do you think the focus on Brexit has led to government neglecting domestic poilicy? Do you think that with no EU, levels of accountability for MPs who will have sole discretion on policy, will increase?
Do you think all members of the public have considered all potential outcomes of both remain and leave carefully based on evidence or hypothesis and made their own decisions?

It’s a spoof. Although I think it would work better if it was a Twitter account, posting the same stuff, and called Brexit Moron.

The trouble is, it's too expensive to make things here because it can be made elsewhere, cheaper at a comparable quality meaning that the manufactoring days are long gone. The UK is now the home of R&D. F1 industry is a prime example. Unfortunately, the Chinese are catching up on that as well and my well become the home of that (R&D, not F1).
