How about we have a referendum to rejoin AFTER we have left, if Stay Out wins then we stay out but if Rejoin The EU wins we have an extra referendum before they get a chance to sign the rejoin paperwork, you know just to make sure people really really really want to rejoin and give them that added extra go to vote the right way instead? Seems fair.

Who says we’re leaving?

If you are so certain that ‘The People have Spoken’ (tm, Leave means Leave) and that 17.2 million people are all still intent on leaving, and will vote that way, what are you scared of?

An act of parliament does for one
Im not scared, but you will destroy the trust in parliamentary democracy and there is no requirement to do the vote again.
But you are avoiding the scenario.......try again

We've already had the vote in 2016 in case you missed it. Maybe we could have a weekly one that would be good

Community...union...picking hairs. Also, care to respond to your blatent hypocrisy when wanting only one referendum to leave but two to rejoin? If you want us to have two to rejoin we should have two to leave. Incredibly undemocratic and un-british. So sad.

Its not possible for you to be this stupid without substance assistance

Weekly, no. The precedent that has already been set for every 40 years is perfectly reasonable. There's only one group of people that believe referendum after referendum until they get the 'right' result is democratic way. Plenty of them on here....................

Every 40 years, mes Europhiles désespéré, every 40 years.

Will there be 48 letters delivered to the 1922 committee? My MP has written one but that's not surprising seeing as she's in the ERG

The numbers of leavers getting distinctly worried is showing now. You can bluff and bluster all you want, but you can smell the fear now. The amount of 'not worried' on NSC alone is a pretty good indication.

Fingers crossed, this government needs to be brought down.

But if there is a Tory leadership contest, which muppet is the least worse of the likely candidates, and whoever it is, will it lead to any significant change in direction, I doubt it.

The DUP have already said they no longer want to back May. It depends on who the new Tory leader is, as to whether they continue to back them.
So now a few DUP MPs have a say in the new Tory leader.
