Quite a few seem to fancy a Norway deal, and they manage a border with an EU nation without major problems.Might be a reasonable solution to last out the EU's collapse.

Moving forward, I suspect the break-up of the UK is far more likely to happen than the collapse of the EU.

Truly, by the day, it becomes harder to distinguish the parody ppf and parody of the parody.

This is the stuff that rational people belittle 'stupid' little Englander leavers with. You wear it as a badge of honour.

Too many big words in there for him to pay much attention, mate. "that" and "You" for starters.

I am sure some of the swivel eyed loony undemocratic brexit snowflakes will be all over that soon trying to claim it is due entirely down to this new fangled internet thing or some other technology like whatsapp or facebook or MySpace or somthing.

Plooks, you really should learn not to gild the lily with this "swivel eyed" bullshit because the story says it all. Your input has simply meant Westdene Seagull has avoided the actual story to comment on you instead.

Told you it would not be long. So, what scary technology is to blame for this then? Twitter? The fax machine? What was wrong with carrier pidgeon!?

You really are a moron. Here you go, here's one thing to make you happy, Amex are moving their legal HQ because of Brexit. Now you can go and do a little dance of happiness.

Well I can see you've just repeated the story. What's your take on it then? Does this sort of thing worry you?

Not particularly - it's a paper excercise more than anything else. Amex have invested heavily in their Brighton base, I don't see it moving or jobs being lost.

A remarkable conclusion to draw.

How can it possibly be anything other than bad news when a massive American corporation and long time local employer moves it's HQ out of the country to an EU alternative?

They aren't moving their 'HQ' they are moving their 'legal HQ' - where their business is registered. They are doing it to keep their business within the EU. It could almost just be a postal address or a small room. It will probably employ a handful admin staff - they are not going to close down their Brighton office or move the jobs from there or indeed their Burgess Hill office either.
