The bottom line is this: EU agricultural policy undermines its own environmental policy. #voteleave

Thanks for the additional link.

Nigel Farage is right to say Turkey is lined up to join the EU one day. But the European Commission has said no new country will join within the next five years. And despite the EU's need for Ankara's help now and the sweeteners on offer, Turkey's membership of the EU could be at least another decade away.

No guarantees, lots of could's and maybe's, possible membership within a 5 to 10 year period.
Nice cherry picking again. Well done. [emoji6]

Britain's influence in the European parliament.

This report analyses each instance in which a majority of British MEPs opposed a motion in the 2009-14 European Parliament.

Our research shows that British MEPs were unable to stop the majority of proposals they opposed from being passed by the European Parliament.

Our research finds:

 In the last term, 1,936 motions were put before the European Parliament. 576 of these motions were against British interests and were voted against by the majority of British MEPs. However 485 of these motions still passed. This is a failure rate of 84 per cent.

 In party terms, the Conservatives failed to block 87 per cent of the motions they opposed, Labour failed to stop 53 per cent, Liberal Democrats 36 per cent and UKIP 95 per cent.

 Looking at all 1,936 motions put before the European Parliament, only 7 per cent were rejected.

 On current trends the UK, already one of the most underrepresented states in the European Parliament for its population size, will suffer a further reduction in influence over the next six years.

.. Motions that were opposed unsuccessfully by British MEPs include the proposals for the Financial Transaction Tax and bans on short selling despite the UK being outside the Eurozone, the Financial Transaction Tax alone is expected to cut 0.2 per cent from Britain’s GDP.

Some blonde posh bloke on the telly said, if we stay in, I've got to have fifteen Turkish rapists living in my sock drawer, so, I'm voting LEAVE now!

I know we have a problem with overcrowding and a housing shortage due partly because of mass immigration but 15 turkish rapists in one sock drawer seems a bit excessive. .....how big are your socks?
also define posh?

That's way too personal to answer on here thanks! But anyway, I'm sure they'll be the same price either way, which is the point I've been trying to make, not a lot, if anything will noticeably change [emoji54]

Two questions.

Where did you lift this from?

Are you going to reply to the question about that similarly unattributed piece that equated the EU with the Third Reich and said that Goering invented the name European Economic Community?

Type in to google Us Military report EW-Pa 128 also known as the Red House Report.
The quote attributed to Goering came 22nd June 1940
Interesting reading.

I dont know how to respond to that, are you saying that any women that travels in Istanbul is under threat or will be abused. Are you saying women should not travel there.

Firstly a bit of an apology. I did go on a bit harsh several posts back.
Secondly women could and should be able to travel there alone. Personally I wouldn't want my wife or daughter to.

The leave campaign are making a lot of noise but similar to the shy Tory factor at GEs I think remain have plenty of support to make them quietly confident of success.

It wasn't a shy tory factor, which btw is a disingenuous smear, it was a sampling bias.

I think Remain have shot their bolt, they've pulled every dirty trick in the book and yet they are losing support. All those dont knows have to make up their minds now and they look around them at what is happening and the penny drops.

You can either listen to what might or might not happen in the future if we remain in or out..

Or you can actually do your own home work and see whats actually happening in the EU RIGHT NOW, socially and politically, you know FACTS of whats actually going on NOW.

How anyone would vote remain after that is beyond me.

OUT.
