I've heard it all now.

The EU protects us from Russian invasion

Talk about clueless

Are you ever going to add anything of value or substance to this thread? You just make idiotic simpleton posts like this all day long. I bet you chuckle to yourself when you do it as well. At best you're making playground retorts and at worst you're just banal. You seem to have too much time on your hands and no wit.

And please don't prove me right with your reply, give me something to think about at least.

So they are extending the register deadline. To me that's wrong. People have known for weeks when the deadline was and decided to rush at the last minute. Allegedly crashing the website. Well if you missed out that should have been tough luck.Apparently the remain camp are delighted by it. They'll do anything to win. Vote rigging anyone?

Hang on, you're complaining about more people exercising their right to vote in the referendum?

Turns out increased British democracy is only an argument for leavers when it suits you.

what a ludicrous statement. Surely the more voters the better as it give as clearer mandate?

They knew the deadline was midnight yesterday. Yet they left it to the last minute. Should've been tough luck.

Of course I have a Remain camp agenda!

Therefore very Remain tinted glasses.

Extremism is on the rise largely because the far right are whipping up anti-immigrant sentiment. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

So the entire cause of the extremism at the hands of the 'far right' whipping them up. Ah problem of extermism is now sloved. Therefore, if the far right stopped 'whipping them up', Al Quaeda et al would simply go back to being non extremist Muslims and all the terrorists would give up their guns and bullets!! Really?

Unfortunately, like it or not, the UK (or rather England) pulling up the drawbridge and telling the rest of Europe to pi$$ off will not solve any of the problems of extremism. We need to tackle these problems together, positively.

Pulling up the drawbridge is a very effective way of stopping them. That way they can't cross. Ever really thought WHY a castle had a drawbridge? Its to stop people coming in (your enemies) that you don't want to come in. Effective border controls are the ONLY way to stop them coming in here. They we can still work with the EU on solving the problem there (MI5/6 etc..), but it keeps it over there and not here. The problem is exacerbated by the EU countries getting rid of their borders and no longer "pulling up the drawbridge". You have a complete open door policy, you will have good and bad enter and won't be able to stop either. Have a drawbridg witha door in it and you CAN control who comes into your castle.

People like Farage claiming there will be mass sexual assaults by immigrants just makes the problem 10 times worse.

Farage never said that. Listen to the words and not the headlines. He said that the increase in sexual assults in Germany have beeen caused by immigrants - this is a fact from the German Police, not Farage. Farage said that if we have the open door policy we then let these immigrants into the UK they could do the same. That is logical thinking. Do you honestly think letting themm in here they will no longer continue their 'activites' - or just by crossing the Chnannel they suddenly become 'good' people and upstanding members of the community?

makes the problem 10 times worse.

Ah so its Fragares fault the sexual assults in Germany then. I see now. Another great problem solved. Shoot Farage and then they will cease. Genius.

Let me guess, if the tap is dripping you kick the cat as its obviously the cats fault???

They brought some bug guns out on the tv for the Remain camp this evening, Sir Alan Sugar, Stephen Hawking.

I bet the leavers are glad they've got Katie Hopkins to balance it out a bit.

You really believe that, they are just responding to the technical delay

Bit conspiratorial even for NSC finest Illuminati

Well I know the Government normally aren't bothered with encouraging large swathes of new voters to register because they are more likely to be younger or come from groups within society that are more likely to Vote for the opposition. It may be purely coincidental that the Tories have suddenly discovered a new devotion for civic responsibility and now support registering the previously disinterested/disenfranchised just out of goodwill or for technical reasons ... nothing at all to do with the younger voter being far more likely to vote remain.

If anyone is basing their decision around the 'personalities' involved instead of the real issues. wow! Not only should they be banned from voting but they should be lobotomised as they are a danger to others.
Likewise if you are such a plank that you leave it to the last minute to register you should have been denied the opportunity altogether. I have no patience with these numpties.

I know a lot of pundits have said this campaign has just been white male Tories, but for the third time I have seen, heard and read Caroline Lucas debate, on both TV and Radio Question time and she shoes a bit of sense in all the shouting, Seem to put across statements without negativity, heres some of what she is saying tonight in the Argus hustings.

Brighton - In your face
Both Socialist Parties, the Socialist Workers Party and the Communist Party are all in favour of an Out vote. Which left-wing party isn't? You could argue the Green Party, but they're always at pains to point out that they sit outside the left-right debate The SNP and Plaid Cymru incorporate elements of both left and right - they were both seen as outright fascist parties until relatively recently but both have moved leftwards since: I wouldn't call either a left-wing party though.

So, which left-wing party does favour a Remain vote?

Well Labour, Green Party, and Lib Dems are officially for REMAIN, which covers most of the left leaving votes. There's other ways of looking at it but they're hardly realistic.
