Every comment by a remainer makes a leaver more determined to leave. It's the same with Trump. These are entrenched views, they won't just simply go away by a second, third, fourth vote.
We have had 40+ years of membership of the EU, maybe some (52%) want to see what it will be like outside the EU. They may be wrong, they may be right. But the vote has given them that right and it should respected. I just can't see how you can justify another vote for at least 10 years, probably longer.
Really? You can't see how you can justify another vote? here are a few reasons:
1) it was a paper thin majority of an electorate where 3m (of arguably the most affected) people were deprived of their vote.
2) The whole campaign on both sides was a shambles and a tissue of lies.
3) since the vote, the people responsible for negotiating have made an absolute mess of things.
I can think of one or two other reasons as well, but they are far more debatable.
I do think though, that we need to have a 20 year review built into whatever outcome transpires.
