The funny thing is i have never thought of the people that are willing to let us become part of a planned Eurostate as Eurolanders.
It has passed my thoughts that just like the EU we have a chap from Germany telling us what is best for us.
Hmmm, Eurolanders......little Eurolanders..... Europhobics.......yeah :)

Yes, but in all honesty, his track record is consistent. After all, he gets everything wrong. He even admitted recently that he thought Corbyn was a disaster after singing his praises. We should be damned glad he's with the 'other' lot :)

The irony is its little Eurolanders who don't want to get out and deal with the wider world.

It is amusing seeing people who are cheerleaders for a protectionist customs union that discriminates against the rest of the world calling other people who want to broaden our horizons insular. :D

Then why have they been so invisible in this campaign? They don't like the EU any more than the average man in the street. That's the truth of it.

Sent from the boot of Lingard

In a speech in London on 2nd June (see BBC website) Mr Corbyn said: "We, the Labour Party, are overwhelmingly for staying in, because we believe the European Union has brought investment, jobs and protection for workers, consumers and the environment.
"But also because we recognise that our membership offers a crucial route to meeting the challenges we face in the 21st century, on climate change, on restraining the power of global corporations and ensuring they pay fair taxes, on tackling cyber-crime and terrorism, on ensuring trade is fair with protections for workers and consumers and in addressing refugee movements."

Oh and i am now watching Hillary Benn, Labour Shadow Foreign Secretary, on the Andrew Neil Interviews right now, pro remain. "Its given us jobs, invesment, growth, security , influnce, peace, workers rights".

Hallelujah for the EU. Us British simpletons couldn't have done any of this for our selves. :ffsparr:

And here you have it: A Little Englander.

Please......ask your wife to take your computer away. Then go and sit in the corner and be quiet until after the referendum.

I,m still voting to 'remain', but you are sorely trying my patience. I don't honestly want to be involved in any organisation that has too many people like you.

Protectionist customs union that protects British industry and agriculture. Broaden our horizons by immolating our trade agreements, broaden our horizons by killing access to the biggest and richest market in the world. Broadening our horizons by requiring a visa to enter France or Ireland. Brexit is better described as Operation Drawbridge.

Much as i agree with nearly all of your post, perhaps with him babbling on you and others voting remain might have your patience really really tried and then vote out.
Maybe HT is the Leavers best chance on here. :)

You are priceless 5ways. I really admire your dogged determination to make yourself look good. Shame you fail miserably but, great effort.

He also said ..... "Just over a week ago, George Osborne claimed that the British economy would enter a year-long recession if we voted to leave.

"This is the same George Osborne who predicted his austerity policies would close the deficit by 2015. That's now scheduled for 2021.

"The biggest risk of recession to this country is from a Conservative government that is failing."

“some communities can change dramatically and rapidly and that can be disconcerting for some people.”

.... “That doesn’t make them Little Englanders, xenophobes or racists.

“More people living in an area can put real pressure on local services like GPs surgeries, schools and housing.”

OK Einstein. Please elaborate on how you see these 3 counties accepting fiscal transfers. I presume, based on your bold statement that you see fiscal Union as happening, you must have read a lot of financial articles which point to this happening. And you can also predict the outcome of a referendum (which would be needed in Germany) to allow this to happen there. And this would also happen within a timescale which will save the EURO.

Or, is it just another one of your hunches because you guessed the last election result?

I believe that due to centuries of war on the continent that there is a real commitment to a unified europe. I have a view that ultimately there will fiscal union for the countries that want to keep the euro, out of necessity and the wider political point i made. I also believe that some countries will not want to keep the euro and will exit. I may be wrong, but i may not be. I suspect i wont be. Happy days

Why stop there? Why not a sussex parliament? Or why not a Brighton only parliament? Actually, why not parliaments for each street? Or house?
Are you in favour of no government at all and a form of anarchy then? (I have no problem with that but just curious as to why you stop at England)

Because that's where Englands' borders actually are? Just a guess.
