If there was a second Brexit referendum how would you vote?

That is exactly what I said would happen, You little tinker punish:

What I have said all along is a 'no deal' with WTO rules and Tariffs won't happen because 9 months is insufficient time to implement everything required. (I've actually been saying that for the last 9 months as 18 months wasn't long enough). But eventually, you have accepted the inevitable and agreed that we would have to ask for extensions to our membership if we don't get a deal. (Although you have kindly re-branded it 'emergency' and 'transition' and definitely not membership), but we will continue to pay in, accept free movement and abide by all EU laws, rules and Tariffs.

You know what they say

I'm off for an early night as i go away for a bit of EU sun, sea and food tomorrow. Who knows, when I get back, TM may have it all sorted :lolol:

Your were also quite clear at one point that brexit wouldnt happen and we would remain in the EU.
Like a few other moaners on here you have multiple positions and depending on the news any given day you move the goalposts accordingly.

No. Don't be silly. We didn't leave the EU the day the referendum was called, did we? So why put up the stupid notion that NI would become part of the Republic as soon as the referendum was announced, regardless of the result?

It would only be if and when NI became part of the Republic. Next dumb question?

You're the one being rather silly here by missing the obvious point - merely the calling and holding of a referendum on Irish unification would cause violence, irrespective of the result of it and the subsequent process, whether that be to Irish Unification or otherwise.

You keep on saying this, but when repeatedly asked, you cannot find any evidence of me ever saying it

No, the real point is that, as a remainer, you can't tolerate any suggestions, because that would rubbish the remainers' fanatical belief that leavers do not have any ideas at all.

But well done for taking an ironic reply to a now far-away post seriously. It would, of course, be an excellent solution, but not one that is an option, unfortunately.

An excellent solution if you're English and want Brexit at any cost like you do. The reality on the ground and in the A&E departments of Northern Ireland that would be dealing with your little solution show the reality is somewhat different, hence it's not being suggested as one by anyone relevant.

You are clearly a deep thinker with clever and intricate solutions to difficult and delicate issues.

If you think there is anything intricate to pulling a plug out ,you must be a civil :) servant.Just because I happen to favour simple solutions,as against poncing around like a bunch of constipated fairies, doesn't make that solution any less valid.Brute force and ignorance sharpens minds wonderfully.:lolol:

Actually, in theory at least, it is an excellent solution for any NI voter who voted remain. But as I said, unfortunately not a practical option.

"..............want Brexit at any cost like you do"
Not like people like you who want to derail, delay or stop Brexit at any cost, eh?

Well we know who to look to for the ignorance, and Pastas right arm probably has the brute force.

No, it's probably got more practical solutions and suggestions to put forward than Junker. Couldn't have fewer, could it?

I'm not one to stick up for the EC but that's a bit of an unwarranted slur. It's not Juncker's job to come up with suggestions or solutions, he's the head of a bureaucracy that has to implement them. The suggestions need to come from the negotiating teams - particularly the UK's.

Yes - to adapt a tennis term "the balls-up is in our court".

They are coming up with suggestions and it appears each one is being thrown out, leaving the government with less and less time. The longer the EU play around the more unfair it becomes for business on both sides of the channel who want to move forward. So far we have told European citizens where they stand and what is happening, but the EU hasn't done the same for us yet.
