Anyone who doesn't accept the outcome of free and fair elections with the will of the majority being enacted (see all previous UK General elections/referendums) is an extremist loon.

Anyone who accepts the country going down the crapper for a false ideal poorly executed by a white minority government hell bent on staying in power and servicing themselves and their chums with as much filthy lucre they can possibly get before bowing out and leaving the British people to suffer the mess, is, in my 'umble, a ****ing loon.

Dear oh dear...

Let's amend that to stupid white toffs with only their own interests at heart. Before you ignore the whole thing because of one phrase you don't like.

I should have used the phrase Dominant Minority, white minority was wrong.

If you're going to insult someone at least be a man about it and admit it when you get a reaction instead of denying it like an utter coward. oddball.

Firstly I will bet any amount of money that I am not Bushy/Alfred Mizen. I'm sure a mod can confirm it for you, it's easily done.

I really don't know why you are getting so upset. You decided to intimate that me and my kids cannot get a job. I then told a little story about a failed actor. He cannot be called a washed up has been as he never was anything in the first place. I can't work it out, it's almost like you are the frustrated nobody who is unhappy with his life and instead of being an accomplished actor is in fact a non entity in a dead end job. I'm sure that is not the truth and you are in fact highly successful with a loving family around you. I'm sure you are not someone who feels they have failed at life, has a shitty job and no family around him and therefore has to go on the internet to insult people as a way to boost his fragile little ego.

the self-proclaimed supporters of Corbyn on this thread who could be fairly described as far left ...

Far left? :lolol::lolol:

The Socialist Party or the SWP could be described as far left but the Labour Party?

I pointed this out last year but just to reiterate, virtually every part of the Labour manifesto (nationalised rail, higher corporation tax, free uni education etc ) is something that the centre-right CDU in Germany supports.

If the Labour Party were far left, it would wholeheartedly back Brexit

Pathetic.

Everyone accepts it. I accept it. But it is only advisory. It needs to be taken into account, but does not need to be followed exactly. That is what advice is. Anyone who thinks it should be innacted word for word is an extremist loon.

parliament voted overwhelmingly (498 to 114) to accept that advice and invoke article 50, so i dont know why this argument keeps being made. but i also dont understand why so many politicans are still arguing over what leaving means, when the time to put some definition around it was back then. they dont have the excuse of being uninformed, as usually leveled at the general public.

Brexit blamed for dramatic fall in UK business registrations
https://www.theguardian.com/busines...or-dramatic-fall-in-uk-business-registrations

Britain’s decision to leave the EU has sparked a dramatic fall in the number of French, Dutch and Belgian businesses registering in the UK, in a further illustration of Brexit’s impact on the UK economy.
Figures from Companies House show that French companies registered 48% fewer businesses in the UK in 2016/17 than in the previous financial year while companies in Belgium registered 38% fewer British offshoots. Companies in the Netherlands, probably the worst affected by Brexit of Britain’s trading partners, registered 52% fewer companies.

Seriously who writes this shit. Even if it was accurate which I doubt it is, it's hardly news. Guardian the new daily mail for remainers.

Bloody Worthing!
Just trawled my way through yesterday's postings. You know I'm beginning to be of the opinion (and call me Mr Over Sensitive) that some of us around here don't like each other very much: Sunday appears to have been a bile-fest.

Why isn’t it news that less businesses are being set up? What’s news to you? Who Jennifer Anniston is dating?

How on earth can you doubt whether it's accurate? It's based on actual figures that are in the public domain. You may disagree with the politics but that's no reason to write nonsense.

And of course it's news - it's not very exciting news - but it's certainly worthy of a news story.

The point being made is it seems to be exclusively The Guardian and therefore Herr Tubthumper that feels it is newsworthy and a negative consequence of Brexit, whilst the BBC, Independent and nearly everyone else that I can see doesn't mention it at all which suggests it is not economically or Brexit relevant and so no it isn't really newsworthy just a bias headline used by a biased poster.

 It was written by Philip Inman, he is the economics editor of the Observer and an economics writer for the Guardian. He published his article this morning....this is why it’s not in other papers or on the BBC.....he writes for The Guardian!

But this isnt some big hitting economic data that otherwise wouldnt be in the public domain if Philip Inman hadnt written it, I bet it won't be mentioned again by any news outlet, its a snippet of information that has very little relevance to the pros and cons of the Brexit process.
