Only trouble is, that study isn't terribly well-informed either if they think this statement is true:

"Russia is seen as the booziest nation in the world, when they actually only rank 7th. Very few correctly pick out Belgium as the highest alcohol drinking nation in the study."

According to WHO figures, Belarus is the booziest country. Most of the countries at the top of the list are ex-Soviet states because of their love of spirits. Beer-drinking Belgium is way down somewhere around 30th, below the UK I believe.

Never trust any website that can't tell the difference between Belarus and Belgium.

But he says the government decided to give the committee the best information it could, or the closest information.

Not on a sector by sector basis, Davis says.

Davis confirms government has not assessed impact of leaving the EU for different sectors of the economy.

My impression of Davis has always been that he is something of an opportunist, a lazy bugger, not over-bright and might owe much of his status to skilled blagging. No idea of level of intelligence Mr Davis has however he appears full of self confidence with a huge ego and very dismissive of others not sharing his view of the world great traits if you are dictating events such as in the Army as per his previous pre-political life but these are not traits for anyone leading negotiations representing the UK during times of peace I have always thought he was the wrong choice for this role
