Sometimes JC you are beating your head against the wall. The 'remainers' don't see the logical arguments, just the belief in an ideal utopia. Deluded, naïve, immature or plain stupid. It will take another 100yrs for a truly politically united group of disparate cultures/countries to allow themselves to become truly united.
In your world only in the uk
I see the vast majority working hard, trying to better themselves and contribute to the community

That is outrageous. People work 45-55+yrs and pay into the country, they PAY for their pension. It is NOT a benefit.
It's a contract between state and citizens. You pay, you deserve, even if you are 105!
EU migrants do as well contribute to the economy. They also pay taxes, rather than live off a pension so there may be more flowing in to the system.

Our eu citizens welcome us to work in their country which is great, as well as retire their etc. Happy days
Pensioners pay tax and have earnt the right to a pension.....
the 100`s of thousands of illegal immigrants in the country dont pay much tax
We export pensioners and import working age people - this is a good thing Across the Western world, and beyond, thinking about it (Japan, and even China) populations are getting older. We need young people to pay into the system to support them. I know that the UK and US are among the few countries in the developed world bucking this trend. In the UK this is thanks to inward migration. This is very healthy for the economy, no where can attract talent like the UK can. The way I see it if you close the door to EU migrants you close the door to growth which will consequently reduce services or push up taxes. The current set-up is very advantageous.
And should be dealt with accordingly, of course.
NO ONE has said close the door to EU migrants, yet you lot spout this rubbish every now and then. The way I see it if you close the door to EU migrants you close the door to growth .
Wow good expression of condescension!
Ask GusI'm still waiting for someone on the side of Remain to tell me what their ceiling is.How many migrants are they prepared to accept before even they say enough is enough and yes you do have a ceiling level. When you've answered that perhaps you will answer the other unanswered questions being how will we cope with housing, nhs, doctors, schools?
Fetch me lemon water so I may wash my hands of this business at once.
