Nope, it's still there as it always is, violent intent and anger, we can all see it Dave.....1/400 it's on your next one.

Speaking as a blood-stained and moronic lying hypocrite I'd say that the worst of the aggression seems to come from some among the Leavers on here, ranging from smarmy patronising to the inchoate shrieks of your right wing fellows.

I've noticed one or two of those I agree with being a bit sharp but I wouldn't include our friends of Berlin and Prague in that list.

Higher travel insurance costs coming for European travel with the loss of EHIC but let's all rejoice

We generally all get insurance when travelling to Europe. I have never used one in my life, I don't even carry one when I go on holiday.

Another falsehood from you. Youre very good at telling porkies. You yourself started this shite when discussing how our national flag has been hijacked by violent, far right street thugs.

'Whenever i see the St George flag flying at full mask i get a great sense of pride.. knuckle dragging skinheads never enter my head.'

I just commented that that was funny coming from somebody who 'marched' with skinheads in Brighton with MFE.

A valid comment I think.[/QUOTE

Your mate Lincoln was referring to the march you lemon ..and who was it who brought that little topic up eh ?

Sister-in-law used her EHIC card to get an emergency doctor's appointment in France last year (wrong medication given to her in UK),but it is the only time I've ever heard of one being used.

Could be fun for you then if you need medical assistance but have no card given the usual travel policy conditions you could be out of pocket by a significant amount

You said that you did not think of skinheads when thinking about the flag of England... I just commented that it was funny
that you marched with skinheads, in Brighton, using our countries flag as your banner.

I don't know anyone that has ever used one of these cards have you?, I would be interested to find out if it has been useful.

My late Mother had an ongoing medical condition and periodically used hers due to her health when on holiday in France, Spain and Italy.

Who is we? You don't need it for health if you're on vacation and not skiing. No one I know gets it just for trips to Europe. There's no need.

What do people use when they say go to the US

If you go to the US you'd be sensible to get health cover for the trip. Some private medical insurance policies actually cover you world wide for anything.

Not strictly true:

Always better to have your own travel insurance,as well as an EHIC.

Fair enough. But I have just drilled down from the same UK GOV link into a handful of specific counties and every one gives free health care i.e. no cost. Which nations will charge you for a contribution and under what circumstances?
