Cameron was telling us a year ago that of course we could exist outside The EU. Now, after his re-negotiations that achieved zilch, we'll be visited by all the plagues if we dare vote to be free of that corrupt monstrosity. A lot of people will have long memories when it comes to those who've put career ahead of country, most of the guilty being Tories.

I never said Cameron wasn't a career politician either.

In fact, he is useless. If the leave campaign win it will be in no small part due to his dithering leadership. Like Boris, he looked at his own future before taking a leadership position on Europe.

The leaders of all the campaigns are a disgrace.

Bloody funny how all these politicians want us to stay in. They don't give a shit about us mugs.

Another toff who begs us to stay in so he can continue his journey on the gravy train at our poor expense.

Equally there's toffs like Boris and IDS begging you to leave. They're secure in their wealth so what happens has no impact on them. If Mandelson is selfishly voting then these two are as well.

Because you want to believe it

No, my default position is that I subscribe to the most neutral newspaper I can find and then believe most of what it says in its news columns until there's proof to the contrary (and you'll see I volunteered that that sometimes happens).

I am pretty sure that the best examples of people believing what they want to believe are to be found among the readers of the Sun, Express, Telegraph and Mail. All of them, but particularly the first two, allow their proprietors' views to percolate silently into their news columns where they are presented as hard facts.

I suspect that the Guardian and the Mirror allow their 'Remain' views to infect their news columns too, but as I haven't seen the Mirror for about 30 years and long ago came to the view that the Guardian is so far up its own bottom that you can barely see its masthead, I can't be certain.

Just corrected something for you there.

The rest of the comments in your post appear to be subjective, inaccurate or designed as humour in an attempt to curry favour with readers, so I can't really correct any of them, but I would say they are misleading.

Did you miss ...

However, because as an EU member we recognise the value of freedom of movement and freedom to work and trade, barring leave to enter is not applied to EU citizens

... this bit of your 'correction'?

We only have the right to stop individual EU citizens coming in if they "represent a genuine, present and sufficiently serious threat affecting one of the fundamental interests of society".

Cameron initially wanted to restrict EU migration in his renegotiations but was told in no uncertain terms this was a non starter by Germany. That country you rather sweetly thought was just another equal member.

Germany says UK could leave EU if David Cameron insists on migrant quotas

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...-David-Cameron-insists-on-migrant-quotas.html

The prime minister toned down a speech on immigration at the end of November after the German chancellor said that she would not accept a rewriting of the founding EU principle, laid down in the 1957 treaty of Rome, that guarantees “freedom of movement for persons”

http://www.theguardian.com/politics...-commission-david-reject-cameron-eu-migration

Mr Cameron delivered a key speech to set out what he would demand from the EU as his price for backing a stay vote in November 2014.

“I saw the draft,” he said. “I know that right up until the midnight hour, there was a strong line in there about restricting the flow of migrants from the European Union – an emergency break on overall migration.

“That was dropped, literally the night before.

“And it was dropped because the Germans said if that is in the speech, we will have to attack it.

“The Germans said from the outset, you are not getting border control. Full stop.”

One of the joys of being a member of the EU .. a British PM going cap in hand to the Germans asking if we can regain a bit more control of our borders and being told no.

This thing above is One very good reason to Vote Leave ,

They're all the same. They (politicians) all live in their bubble and are distracted from reality. They all socialise with like minded toffs and not in our neighbourhoods where the individual citizen faces violence like women who are raped by on massive scales.

Politicians like Cameron and Co are protected 24/7 by armed gurdes and their children attend private schools where their children don't have to sit in some bloody classroom with 65 different languages.

600 schoolgirls were raped in schools last year and and the politically correct teachers said the girls were experimenting and nothing to do with Ayslum seeking boys who carried out the rapes.

I'll not go on as my curry has arrived and going to hopefully watch a great game of football.

Cameron Ditches Law To Make UK Parliament Sovereign Over Brussels

David Cameron has abandoned a proposed law to give the UK Parliament supremacy over Brussels.
The so-called Sovereignty Bill has been buried by the Government just months after the Prime Minister first announced it at the start of the European Union (EU) referendum campaign.

He had promised that the new law would bring in constitutional safeguards to protect British sovereignty against the growing power EU institutions, especially the European Court of Justice.

However, the bill will be absent from the Queen’s speech at today’s State Opening of Parliament.

It's possible to introduce any tiering system you like to any nationals you want - should you wish, and should you have pockets deep enough to fund the tiering system you want.

I see

in one breath the remain camp says we do have control of our borders and we can implement a points based tier immigration policy to limit the number of EU nationals coming in if we want,we just choose not to do it.
In the same breath the remain camp say post brexit, if we want to continue trading in the single market we would not be able to introduce a points based tier immigration policy on EU nationals because freedom of movement is a red flag issue.

You lot seemed confused and I don’t think you fully understand what we can and cant do with regards to immigration

Bottom line is , this country doesn't need any more EU "migrants "entering the country , just need to see a load more going back to mainland Europe , you know it makes sense in the long run ,WE'RE FULL UP !!!!!!!!

With all the doom being spread by the remainers i.e. financial meltdown, Europe at war, etc etc, my thoughts are what sort of a Prime Minister (one I voted for) would allow even the chance of a vote if it was going to lead to bankruptcy and mass slaughter?

He was on the back foot when UKIP showed their hand and was obliged to fall in line

I don't think anyone has said anything of the sort, but if you want to keep acting obtuse then that's your prerogative.
