Oranjeboom 8.5 from the corner shop does it for me.

Now you're talking. 4 cans of the red 'n black and it's goodnight Sooty for me. Where's your corner shop, mine's stopped doing "Tramp Juice"?

It’s the first Brewdog AGM at their new built-for-25m-by-Stone-bought-for-1-euro European HQ tomorrow. Starts at 12:00, ends at 22:00 with the after party at their regular bar.

Looking forward to this.

Went in Brewdog the other day and I think I payed £4.80 for a pint of Punk. Also had an Almanac Saison which was £5.00 for a half. One of the best Saisons I,ve ever drunk so I didn't mind but some of their guest beers are a bit silly price wise. But like I say £4.80 for Punk............is that really that expensive in Brighton.

its a rip off . . . . £3.40-£4.00 for the worlds finest ales in little old Shoreham town. . . . its probably not the pub landlord making the profit though.

At £22.50 a pint, would anyone let me have a tiny sip of their Speedway Stout? It does sound nice: "The beer...contains Blue Mountain Coffee from Hawaii as well as other expensive ingredients that give it its black colour, thick, syrupy consistency, and coffee-flavoured taste."

https://www.independent.co.uk/life-...tout-alesmith-the-craft-beer-co-a8510336.html

What a nonsense article. I assume it is served in 1/3rd measure - at £7.50 but they've scaled it up to a pint to make some news.

I heard it’s about being a carbon neutral brewery, or similar. As an eco-warrior (and working class socialist) I will watch with interest as I always try and take the carbon neutral option where I can. Isn’t that right Westdene Seagull?

Aldi's knock-off of Punk is hilarious; can't find a non social media post about it but its a rather similar can design and called Anti Establishment IPA. Same ABV% and as the receipes are all public it could be a complete clone.
