[Drinking] Brewdog: hipsters”, “pretentious”, “wankers”, “********s” or simply "full of s**t"?

Shit for new staff but 4.5% pay rise for existing. What’s everyone else’s pay rises been like recently ?

Given it’s a loss making business, next step will be job losses I guess

Their product and controversy aside, the business seems a bit of a mess these days. They have flip-flopped on franchises a few times in Europe now; it seems they now prefer to own their bars themselves...again. They have become so mainstream that many of the original people who supported and grew them have deserted. Part of the appeal was thier bars had a good range of guest beers but a company policy that guest beers cannot be sold cheaper than the Brewdog equivalent has severely hampered this. Expansion into untapped markets seems the way they want to continue to grow. I keep my fingers crossed for an IPO or a takeover so I can cash out.

They should be raking the cash in, their beers are everywhere and always well stocked too. The marketing is excellent and I know several people who prefer Punk over almost anything else. I know there has been an increasing amount of bad publicity but they should shrug that off.

industrial-chic with sprinkles of quirk. just barely better drinking environment than a football stadium, due to seats.

I like Brewdog beers and Punk is my staple but I would admit their bars are not for me. Had a burger in one once which I enjoyed.

not everyone is happy to see Britain swamped , its easy for people from Brighton to get on their high horses , your part of the country isn't affected by it.
