Come on... we created a good number of goal opportunities.... finishing is shocking... nothing wrong with the approach play at all, even without Mitoma.
My take is that we created a good number of goal opportunities but we didn't create a number of good goal opportunities. An XG of 1.11 would back this up.

I say there is a lot wrong with the approach play and the wrong decision is often made.

Glad I don't support Brentford, what a negative team they are

93 minutes that summed up our season. Pretty approach work, followed by frustration, followed by two points dropped. At times we are magical to watch, but sometimes it is pure tedium.

We’ve probably got too used to RDZ and it’s getting predictable for us but worth reflecting Brentford were basically shitting themselves playing us (unlike ManU). Worth repeating that!

Or maybe they just know that sitting back against us is effective? They don’t have to be shitting themselves to have a different approach to playing us than they did playing Man U. It’s not like we haven’t provided plenty of evidence that it works against us!

Passing the ball side to side, back again, side to side again and back doesn't get you anywhere.

Searched at entrance, chap wanted to inspect all wallet pockets and compartments. Had a couple of notes and a usual bank cards etc..Asked what he was expecting to find to be told 'that would be telling'. More than happy to be searched but not sure what he was looking for unless wanting to locate my senior rail card!

Poor game brought down to the lower level of Brentford who to be fair defended well, it wasn’t a penalty in the eyes of the referee and I agree with him.
Thought Dunk was masterful at the back Pedro and Ensico both made returns which gives hope for the remaining 8 games.
Onwards and upwards

Just catching up with comments on the BBC website, and saw this corker from one of the Brentford players:

Brentford defender Kristoffer Ajer, speaking to TNT Sport: "The clean sheet was the main focus for us today" - really? Glad he said as we hadn't noticed!!

Adam clearly noticed:

Brighton midfielder Adam Lallana speaking to Premier League Productions: "We were disappointed with a point, we saw how dominant Brentford were the other night with 30 shots on goal but we dominated this game, just lacked the killer instinct.

"It's been a tough season with a lot of games, which is new for Brighton, but we are not making excuses, we had bodies back tonight and could have nicked it.

"Clean sheet today, a point away in the league is never bad. It will be tough on Saturday, Arsenal are a good team. We were the only team looking to win this game tonight."

The ITK posters here said Undav insisted on playing back in Germany.
My point was that Undav is scoring and remains uninjured (and not part of the De Zerbi training regime) - in response to the hypothesis made that "injuries may sometimes be down to the manager". That's all.

That was probably me, that about injuries, sorry if you've got into trouble because of that!

But, I do believe it's more than just "bad luck" and I really hope the club dig deep into this. This year has been tough for most teams, maybe we've come to the point of what is possible when it comes to training load and intensity. Or has it to do with those "modern" boots? Hybrid-pitches? The club that will be able to handle this in a better way will of course have an advantage. I doubt we will ever get fewer games in the future and we can't have NFL-sized squads, that will only benefit those big six. I hope everyone, from Mr Bloom and Barber to RDZ and the medics can solve this equation. You just can't ask for more players all the time.

Undav! Well, I like him and think he's got some unfinished business in the PL, he know how to score goals. He could probably have scored a few more if he had got the pass when making those runs behind the defense. A bit similar to Fati before his injury, he took the runs but never got a pass. Instead we played it sideways or backwards.

Same with me - I was told 'drugs' as well. Only a tiny credit card-sized wallet - and that had to be opened. Yet uninspected in my pockets I had a bag of dried toast (don't ask), waterproof overtrousers (could conceal bags of, err, sugar) and hard objects like power pack and phone. He didn't see my senior railcard - though that was on my phone. Only the bus pass was discoverable.
