Are there any big pillars blocking the view from the terraces, or is that just in the seated areas? And also is there any cover (roof) over the terrace?

As you may have gathered, i have never been.

I wish I was standing behind one the last time we were in that stand then I wouldn't have seen Glen Thomas put in the worst performance I've ever seen from a Brighton player.

Thanks Greens :(

I've always wondered why people get into football ground really early. Espically the ones that take pictures of the players warming up!

I know what you mean...

Me and my dad used to get in the East Terrace at TGG around 2.30pm. and stand quite high near the back...

Nearly every time, like clockwork at 2.58pm., two tall dudes with bobble hats would come and stand right in front of us

You couldn't make it up...

Is it the terrace underneath a very small section of seats, which are overhead?

Fear not, it will no doubt be properly signposted and labelled on the day.

Yes -

What Is It Like For Visiting Supporters?
Away fans are housed in the Brook Road Stand at one end of the ground. This covered two tiered stand has 600 seats in its upper tier and room for around 1,000 fans below in the terrace. The upper tier has good unhindered views of the playing area, whilst below in the lower terraced area there are a couple of prominent supporting pillars, which may effect your view. There is a good selection of refreshments on offer including a selection of Wright's Pies & Pasties (£2.20), Herta Hot Dogs (£2.60), Cheeseburgers (£2.80), Chips (£1.20) and even Curry & Rice (£4). I had an enjoyable visit to the ground and didn't experience any problems.

Tim Porter a visiting Torquay United supporter adds; 'The home fans were the most friendly I've come across for a long time - before kick-off, the stadium announcer asked all the home fans to put their hands together for the Torquay fans who had made such a long journey. I expected indifferent silence or abuse, but there was almost universal clapping!'

At Forest Green the match attendance is announced before the start of the second half, including how many away supporters made up the total, the home fans always give the away fans a round of applause for making the journey...it isn't just Brentford fans who are so polite and friendly!

does anyone know if there are also any places in the area where I will be able to use public toilets as I don't want to be caught short?
