I agree in the main with most of this so far but stand outs for me would be:
Stockdale - 5 terrible kicking and wished he'd stayed on line for first as although it narrowed angle I thought giving their striker more to do would have been better.
Bong - 5 would have been a 3 but recovered with 2 or 3 good solid defensive clearances. Otherwise he slows play down, is ponderous and offered nothing going forward.
Hemed - thought we were playing with 10 men for first 20 minutes. 4
Norwood - 6 but no Stephens
Dunk - 8 Solid
Duffy - 7 nice touches on the ball but need to check replay to see if he was put on his ass or slipped for their second
Manu - 6 So unlucky to be booked, knocked confidence as otherwise looked brighter than last years cameos
Hughton - 4 learn from errors, play Stephens on Tuesday and CHANGE THINGS SOONER. Was so obviously not working today yet waited and waited and waited
Funny,i thought stocky was poor today.Stockdale 10, Mustard and we need to offer him a new 4 yr contract.
Bruno 3
Duffy 1 £4m wasted.
Dunk 6
Bong 2 Rubbish.
Knockaert 9, Without him we'd be looking at relegation.
Norwood 2, £2 million wasted.
Kayal 4
Murphy 4
Hemed 3
Murray 3
Subs:
Manu 7, quality.
Stephens 6
Skalak enough siad.
What kind of reception did Stephens get?
Think it's about time Bong was given a long lay-off, he has been a liability since he came back from injury at the end of last season. Pocognoli surely can't do much worse despite his lack of recent gametime.
The ref Scott Duncan was a 2.
A nailed on penalty not given,
Bong 6.5 Thought he had a good game despite what others have said
Totally agree with you on this. Often the scapegoat and sometimes rightly so but I thought he was pretty damn good today, especially in comparison to the rest.
