I'm in exactly the same situation. I'm also annoyed that despite going away to Wolves, Sheffield twice, Nottingham forrest, Chelsea in the leauge cup, Luton and all of the London games so far this year I am in the same bracket as a season ticket holder who's gone to about 2 away matches this season.
This was discussed a little while back and there has been some engagement with the club on whether there should be a change made.

Currently, for all away games, the following tiers are used:

Tier 1 – the allocation (normally around 3k)
Tier 2 – 25% of STHs & 1901 (around 6k)
Tier 3 – 50% of STHs &1901 (around 12k)
Tier 4 – all STHs & 1901 (around 24k)

A suggestion was to revert to the below for games with an allocation of below 2,000:

Tier 1 – the allocation (using an example of 1k allocation – 1k)
Tier 2 – double the allocation (around 2k)
Tier 2 – 25% of STHs & 1901 (around 6k)
Tier 3 – 50% of STHs &1901 (around 12k)
Tier 4 – all STHs & 1901 (around 24k)

I can see pros and cons of both approaches. The latter would give a reward, in the form of an increased chance of a ticket, to those who just miss out on Tier 1. The tiering as it stands means a larger group of people have an opportunity to get a ticket for the hard-to-get games.

Can anybody please explain the logic behind selling these when probably a large amount of fans will either be on their way or already in Rome.
It is not as if we will not sell out in short order so i think it could have waited till the following week surely. I would have rather they concentrated their minds on getting the emails sent for Roma in case any issues crop up with those.
They have internet in Italy I hope

That season ticket holder almost certainly won’t go to Brentford though

I just don’t see how there can be 122 points between tier 1 and 2, and 29 points between tier 2 and 3 using that calculation.

No skin in the game - will be sold out before it reaches me - but very much this. Best run club in the country in a lot of ways. Ticketing not one of them.
Respectfully, I think that's a bit harsh.

In all my dealings with Supporter Services, which encompasses ticketing, I find them to be excellent.

About this sale we could say "what were they thinking?", or "they haven't thought about this at all", but they'll have been full-on with Roma away plans this week and at 10:30 on a Friday night when the situation was highlighted, they've immediately responded that they'll move the sales windows so no fans are disadvantaged due to their Rome travel arrangements.

The club emblems are the wrong way round on the albion website - indicates albion at home.

It'll be a normal distribution bell curve, I assume. There will be a lot of fans tightly grouped with similar points.

That’s actually quite exceptional to be fair.

Reading all this... I'm assuming MyAlbion+ members don't have a chance.

No hope with it even being midweek...?

No chance.
I doubt there will even be 100 left before T2 opens.

Gutted about this, as it was one of my priorities having narrowly missed out last season.
Just couldn't afford to get enough points this season.
I guess I could have swapped Ajax for Wolves and Sheffield United, but I wouldn't have missed that for the world.

Hopefully Brentford stay up and I get a third go.

Sales will be pushed back a week, commencing on Tuesday 12th.

Tier thresholds will change slightly as there will be some additional points credited by then.
Does this mean that Fans going to Rome will have additional points in comparison to fans who don't go?
giving them an additional advantage?

Doubt it as season ticket points added 7 days after game. This will sell out early tier 2
