Has everyone received theirs? Yet to get mine

I hadn't recieved mine, rang the club on Monday to be told they were dispatched last Tuesday. Was told if they had not turned up by Thursday to ring to have duplicates left at the Brentford ticket office.

They arrived yesterday with a first class stamp, not sure if its a coincidence the day after calling they turned up.

In fairness, it seemed that the tickets weren't returns but a block that had been made newly available by Brentford. Bit cheeky by the club but they didn't technically lie. They were about 5 rows at the back of a stand, all next to each other.

Obviously, I managed to grab a couple so I'm quite pleased about the whole thing.

Yeh it was only a ticket worker and she asked manager type thing. Only joking - delighted to get one - gonna be a banging atmosphere I think.

For medical reasons (not covid) I can't go so returned my ticket and got money back today. Not sure if its been resold yet (row27), was told I could return ticket but it had to be back with club by Thursday for them to resell.

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
I can't find anything on Brentford's web-site regarding having to have Covid vaccination proof and photo ID to gain entry. Does anyone know the situation regarding this?

The fact that there is nothing with the tickets suggests they are doing nothing

Their code of conduct is https://www.brentfordfc.com/terms-conditions/#accordion_covid_19_supporter_code_of_conduct
(In short: Wear a mask on concourse, don't attend if you are ill/have tested negative/have symptoms, give other fans space )

Although interestingly it looks like Premier League Guidance - which Brentford say they will follow - is now updated to tell fans to prepare for spot checks of covid status.

See this update on the Palace site today.
In line with new Premier League guidelines, supporters must be prepared to show their COVID status every matchday (ie. double vaccinated, natural immunity or negative lateral flow within 48 hours of the match) using the NHS Covid Pass, and our stewards will be conducting spot checks outside the stadium from Saturday’s match vs Spurs.

I see the advice is to go to Chiswick station after the game as Kew Bridge is very busy. Won't these trains be rammed by the time they get to Chiswick, they will have already have been through Kew?

No because Kew Bridge is a train to Clapham and Chiswick is a tube to Victoria

Seems that there is a belief that most people using Kew Bridge will be going in the opposite direction to Chiswick, therefore when trains arrive at Chiswick for Clapham Junction they should not be too busy. Unlike at Falmer, there is only one queue at Kew Bridge regardless of which platform you want.

I’m going overground so was just gonna go Kew Bridge (to Clapham) for ease - a don’t suppose anyone knows of rough queue times usually? Difficult as it’s new ground and more attendance I get that…

Chiswick has an overground station on the London Waterloo line

The tube is Chiswick Park isn’t it

Sorry yes I assumed he meant Chiswick Park, that's what we are doing after the game, don't fancy being stuck in a queue in a tunnel at Kew Bridge with 100's of other people, a brisk walk in the fresh air is far more appealing. Besides getting on the train home at Vic is also better than at Clapham

All trains from Victoria stop at Clapham
