Oh gosh. I’m so excited. Overwhelmed at this earth shattering news.

Good luck to them. Stuffed the Daily Mail in court and now had some good news. Damned if they do and damned if they don't. The same people moaning now would moan if, out of the blue, they announced the arrival of a baby.

As for the fact there's been an announcement, whether he likes it or not, he is sixth in line to the throne.

I'm an old romantic at heart and the fact they announced it on Valentines Day is the cherry on the icing, they're a young couple in love, all good luck to them

No more interested than if some couple down the street got knocked up or some other minor celeb. Best of luck and congrats to the young couple and great to hear, but 2 seconds later onto the next story hopefully. And without it costing us hundreds of millions in tax.

I am sure I read they were going to no longer use the Duke and Dutchess of Sussex and to just live a quiet life as ordinary citizens based somewhere that's not the UK.

Netflix have just announced that the birth will be shown over five nights, later in the year. A spokesman said that it was part of the contractual agreement with the Sussex's and will include actual footage of the birth process. The Sussex's have stipulated that no filming should take place at ' the business end ' and all bad language should be edited out. It is believed that the couple agreed to a conceptual contract, allowing Netflix sole rights to film, should the duchess fall pregnant.

Blanket coverage on Sky News last night after it had broke, getting a wide range of perspectives and opinions on some good news for once, and every national newspaper has it on their front page so yes, there are plenty of us who do care and with all the negativity around at the moment it's lovely for the country to have some good news for a change.

A prequel is in the pipeline for 2024

Couple have baby.

How does this change anyone's life - other than theirs a little?

Well done to them as people. Don't really care in the wider scheme of things.

I love the posters who claim they don’t care, but care enough to let people know they don’t care

That is me!

My dislike for anything Royal/Monarchy is high up on my agenda. I feel it is important to highlight the insignificance of events when some media outlets try to tell us it hold true news value. So like I said, nice news for them but means diddly squat to 99.9% of the population.
