This morning, the whole family went out for a late breakfast/early lunch (7 of us having all arrived for Mrs Wz's birthday yesterday afternoon/night). Maybe I should have mentioned it before The Goldstone cafe, exactly where you would expect to find it.

If you want the perfect combination of 3 traditional English Breakfasts and four Chinese lunches it's perfect. However recognising the owner on entry, it turns out it's Danny who set up Danny's in Blatchington road. He now owns this cafe/restaurant and we'll be straight back down there for an evening table on account of the fact we aren't Big Fat Bastards that are all over 'all you can eat', and would prefer a bit of quality.

This has been a public service announcement and doesn't qualify for any commission whatsoever

Is that the one on the north side of the main road?

Yes I saw that in the post …it was the one he visited I was asking about ..but I can see now that my post may seem a tad confusing

i asked as I was stuck in traffic last week and looking at a Chinese just past Hove Park and our ex ground …thinking I might try that sometime

That's the one

The original place he set up is in Portland Road and called Danny's but this is better. (I thought it may be a bit too common for the Restaurant 2024 thread though )

There should be a name for such a meal.
Lunbre ? Lubreak ? Breakfanch ?

No, I'm sure someone will think of one.
