Anyone watching? The TV coverage so far is focusing solely on the pitched battles in the stands. Police wading in with batons. Utterly mad.

Looks like Argentina, led by Messi, are now walking off. They look scared. Yep, they’ve been driven back to the dressing rooms as the fighting continues.

Watching it on L'Equipe TV in French Guyana. Not a streaming site.

Doesn't look like this one is going ahead, the way Messi and the Argentina players marched off the pitch.

Edit: The Argentinian players are coming back out, to a chorus of Brazilian booing.

Argentina reluctantly back on the pitch. Mac Allister included. Everyone looking doubtful. Will the match kick off? You have to wonder what will happen if there’s a dodgy decision/ bad tackle. Both of which are 100% certainties.

The players are now jostling, even before KO.

Difficult to establish what happened. Except that the police seemed to be rather enjoying themselves.

Exactly what I was thinking. Bad tackles, aggro and red cards to come, no doubt.

Not sure Tim quite meant it literally.

3 minutes in, and already several horrible challenges/ theatrics. OMG, this will be a shithousery classic for the ages. First yellow card shown, on 4 minutes. It won’t be the last.

Unsurprisingly a lot of play-acting going on. Oscars to be handed out after the final whistle.

No chance of a free flowing game.

No, but yet… when they do decide to play football here and there between the theatrics, they look great. This is one of the funniest and most entertaining matches I’ve ever seen, and we're only 30 mins in. And I’ve been watching football since 1965…
