There was a chap that sat next to us at Withdean who used on only shout "Come on Brian" and "Come on Aaron", with occasional additions of "BRIAN OVE AARON". Nice lad. Lacked imagination though
I lament the passing of the hard T.

There’s a story of a BBC senior manager called Tom who, in an affectatious manner (he was apparently very middle class) dropped his Ts. His behind-his-back nickname was Om.

My mum was a speech therapist. She was constantly reminding me to say my Ts. Luckily for her, we moved away from Sussex when I was 11, and things gradually improved.
I went to a speech therapist because I could not say my Fs and my THs. "you cant say fairer than that then, can you?" was her reply.
