"You will hear about and see people whose behaviour will probably disgust you and make you wonder if there is any hope for the human race."

Is he talking about Millwall?

I just assumed that as you were so keen that we sign King and Hughes, you'd want this chap, to complete the dream forward line.

The difference being that they are both good goalscorers who have or will have served their sentence and paid the price of their crimes as decided by the system and still young enough to be able to score goals. When he has finished his sentence he will be too old, even if he only did about 12 years as a life sentence.

So once more, just to clarify;

If the courts, for arguments sake, only sentenced him to a couple of years, and he had a few goals to his name, you'd welcome him to the club?

Abort, retry, fail
I'd imagine the contract will be terminated.

That is the second player they have signed that has ended up doing 'bird'. Maybe they need to look at their HR department and make some changes.

No because he has been found guilty of murder for which there is only 1 sentence that can be given Life Imprisonment.

Had he been found guilty of manslaughter or unlawful killing the sentence woiuld have reflected the severity of the crime so the scenario would have been different and it is impossible to pass judgement on that possibility.

He certainly wouldn't get in the ARSENAL or SPAIN teams, as they prefer to pass the ball into the net rather than SHOOT ON SIGHT.

Gavin Grant's Absence To Continue

Wycombe Wanderers have issued a club statement concerning Gavin Grant.

Grant was last seen in a Wycombe shirt when the Chairboys earned a 1-1 draw at Grimsby Town on 11th October.

According to Wycombe's official website, Grant then suffered an illness which ruled him out of contention. Despite recovering some time ago he is set to miss more games in the coming weeks because of personal problems.

Wycombe Managing Director Steve Hayes today issued the following statement:

'Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside the club's control, Gavin Grant has been unavailable for selection for the past few weeks. He is experiencing personal problems, but we are hopeful that the matter will be resolved in due course.'

Also from Wycombe re Grant:

Wanderers boss Peter Taylor said: "He's got bags of potential and he's a good finisher.

Well you were right about one of those points, Peter:ohmy:

Do they still have to pay him whilst he is under Contract?

From Bradford City FC's player profiles:

"Gavin Grant signed for the Bantams on Friday 26 February 2010.

Grant joined the football club on a non-contract basis until further notice as he looks to work his way back into football.

A non-contract deal basically means Grant will not receive a salary for his time with the Bantams.

He has been out of the game since leaving Wycombe Wanderers in March 2009 due to personal reasons."

So basically if he got off the charges they would start paying him by the looks of it. So it seems Bradford have gained nothing but lost nothing.
