Gervinho just does not convince. Wenger must see something - but he looks worse every time I see him. He has absolutely no bottle and no battle. And no amount of technique will overcome that.

Perhaps he IS Arsenals Ashley Barnes then ?? Performs badly but still makes the team and doesnt get subbed !!

Great performance by Bradford tonight, they have well and truely done the Football League proud, also makes us going out to Swindon look bearable !! The other question of course is how long can Wenger remain in his job ?

Should also be pointed out that Bradford are now the best team in penalties in English football history by winning NINE in a row !!

With the riches they have at their disposal, to go 7 years without a trophy is a disgrace. You have to hand it to Bradford though - you could see the passion and the fact they wanted it that little bit more

Why is it a disgrace? Surely riches are only relative to the riches of everyone else. They clearly don't have as much money to throw around as Chelsea or Man City, Football Weekly Podcast said it well, that they stopped winning trophies as soon as football became a billionaires' game. Obviously a terrible result tonight, but Arsenal fans need a serious reality check.

Arsenal average Players wage £51:0000
Bradford = £780:00

Got more money than Bradford though

I loathe Arsenal with a passion - I think they're fans are some of the worst in the world for being delusional dickheads!! But that said, the money generated from the sales of Van Persie, Nasri, Fabregas, Toure, Adebayor etc over the years has been spent on some utter utter pony. You have to question how long the likes of Walcott, Wilshere and Oxlade-Chamberlain will stay without being successful. 3 or 4 years ago they had some class coming through they're youth, now that seems to have slowed down somewhat. If I was an Arsenal fan, I'd be pissed off. With what's been available to them, in terms of finance and level of competition, they didn't half look mediocre tonight - and that was possibly their best side.

As I say though, take nothing away from Bradford, they worked hard and I hope they can get to Wembley. Who know's, if they can beat Villa, and Chelsea get through to the final - could we see a League 2 side in the Europa League next season!?!? :D

Arsene Wenger's run out of ideas. The final straw will be if Theo Walcott refuses to sign a new contract. They're certainly missing Alex Song - always very reliable. Lukasz Podolski had a bright start to the season but he's beginning to look poor value for money and homesick for Germany.

I don't know where they go from here but they're in deep shit and another trophy-less season beckons.

I do think Wenger has had his day.

His success in the first 8 years was down to inheriting some very good players in Seaman, Adams, Bould, Keown, Dixon, Winterburn, Parlour and Bergkamp. He added to this with some very good French players that he knew well: Henry, Pires, Anelka, Wiltord, Vieira and Petit but since those players retired/moved on, he has done nothing.

Fergie has proved what an incredible manager he is by continually re-building sides, Wenger has proved he is not capable of doing this. Arsenal should go all out to get Guardiola, Mourinho or even David Moyes at the end of the season.

I don't believe that Arsenal have got money to spend, I think the emirates is eating up their money and thats why they can't spend. Wengers the sort of bloke who will say anything to protect his players and hide the truth. If they start sinking lower and their fan base shrinks it could put them in real trouble.

Cant believe Wenger came out and said he couldnt fault the players effort. So basically the players are not good enough to beat a fourth division side then?! I would be seriously pissed off with him and the players if I was a Gooner.

Arsenal are the 6th richest club in the World. They charge the highest season ticket prices in the entire world. "Quote - Alan Davies, The Tuesday Club"

They should be competing for trophies.

Arsene Wenger is a legend! He has nearly finished his project and then he will move on knowing full well he has suceeded. Chelsea and City could go bust tomorrow... Arsenal is secure. Arsenal is a role model. Wenger you genius.

The man is a lot more respected than the likes of big spender Mancini. He deserves respect from true football fans. Real football fans can see what he's trying to achieve.

If arsenal make the most per game from season tickets/match tickets and still can't pay the big wages etc to win the league surely that tells you what a sad, pathetic state the premier league has become. f*** off Ambramovich, f*** off mansour. A salary cap would put an end to this fantasy football that the riches are playing against each other.

IMO only Alex Ferguson has achieved more as a manager than Wenger in the last 20 years.

I agree with every word of that.
