I'm guessing that this is libelous? But I also assume that the libelee is pretty unlikely to do anything about it.

There are some people on this site who say things that they know is going to provoke a reaction.
There are some feeble minded peopel
There are very strong personalities
There are very Opinionated people
There are people who when you meet them are the total opposite to how you perceive them after reading their posts
There are out and out nasty pieces of work who use NSC to further their aims at the expense of other users
There are some really pleasant people , who I have met on here who I regard as friends and hopefully will do till the day I die.

Having said all that, you are all soft southern shandy drinking poofs who support a shite football team and I am proud to know you.

Bozza has very clearly stated as to why the site was closed down for a while in the top "sticky" thread onthe main board, to continue debating what is right to say and what is wrong is a waste of time, and will very likely just end up in a binfest.

i, like most people i hope, use nsc as a forum through which i can behave in a way that's simply not tolerated in polite society.

What a sad and IMO ridiculous comment, do you really think that most users of NSC come here for that? Why on earth would anyone rejoice in an opportunity to behave in an intolerable way? I guess I am not most people, as I try to treat people in all instances as I would like to be treated myself. Or perhaps, I am most people, and find the general trolling and attempts to push the limits of this site quite sad, and has ruined what used to be a great read.

Maybe that's the problem? Too many people doing that? Some are bound to take it too far.

I left the thread open as i felt it would not be necessary to lock or remove it, I am now re-thinking that.
