Probably just for the duration of the storm - I've seen an elderley gentleman golfer struck by lightening and it isn't pleasant - he was stupidly standing under a tree!!

Hope the kid is OK - can do some serious damage!!

Unlucky lad. Still, it's all that "faux silver" bling they wear up that way. Nothing will attract lightning like 25lb of market-grade steel.
