Boxing Day fixtures marks the half way point in our season. After reviewing the fixture list for the next 5 fixtures I think we've got an easier run than Reading, Leeds & Birmingham. Therefore my prediction for the top 6 after we play QPR is:
1st Newcastle
2nd Brighton
3rd Huddersfield
4th Reading
5th Sheff Wed
6th Derby

Newcastle v Birmingham (1st v 4th)
Reading v Wednesday ( 3rd v 7th)

And we will have a great chance to up the ante if we beat those mighty Northerners

This is the Championship. There are no easy runs, no easy games, and anyone can beat anyone at any time. You take things for granted at your peril - look at Newcastle's result yesterday against Blackburn.

I've never had piccalilli. I'll get some this week and then post in the bagel thread with my thoughts! Ham / cheese you say! Is that just on its own, not in between bread or anything?

Home made Piccalilli? Sounds a great idea, must get a recipe....

I reckon we will top the table at 3:40 this Saturday and will still be there Boxing Day.
Whether this is so or not, I will then open my homemade piccalilli. Made from shallots, cauliflower, green beans, courgettes, cucumber, (and untraditional a little asparagus and broccoli) from the allotment in apple cider vinegar with ground mustard, ginger and turmeric.
Made it in June and finished 5 jars in a week before putting this one aside for Boxing Day. Will follow it up with some bottled allotment strawberries.
Come on Albion.
