David Haye was WBA Champion, Michael Moorer was WBA and IBF Champion.
What do you define as 'major' titles?
I’m pretty sure Moorer beat Holyfield to win the title before losing to ‘Big’ George Foreman not too long after.

I was thinking of the unified titles held by Rocky Marciano, Floyd Patterson Muhamad Ali and Lennox Lewis etc.
If you mean the linear world title (the man who beat the man who beat the man etc...) then as big nuts pointed out, Moorer won that when he beat Holyfield.I was thinking of the unified titles held by Rocky Marciano, Floyd Patterson Muhamad Ali and Lennox Lewis etc.
I think Michael Spinks was undisputed And only put on the floor by Tyson Not to shoddy was heAll the lower ranked world titles none ever held the major ones. I also dont think Usyk will either.
I’d say at the time Moorer was the bona fide Heavyweight Champion, Haye & Hide definitely not but recognised as winning one of the big four.
You very rarely get unified champions nowadays which is down to boxing politics.
Herbie Hide was a joke World Heavyweight Champion
